Rear sequentials finally ready

Well, after months and months of waiting, and Fortis' many attempts, they've finally cracked the code to working rear sequential indicators. They've gone onto one of his Mustangs for testing (RHD EB), and work a charm. Everything I'd spoken to them about including has been!

There's a video I've been posting around in facebook groups, but as I'm at work I'm not able to post this (Or subsequently the instagram link he's got, but it's on www.instagram.com/FortisAutoDesign instagram).

The features of it are as follows:

• Full Orange and Red LED lights in all 6 (3 each side) lights.
• When indicating they sequence from the decklid side first (same as the American models), and go towards the edge of the vehicle
• When indicating AND braking the lights are RED when the indicator is not currently on said light
• Switch installed in the boot (Not drilled in) inside the car, to switch the lights back to stock mode
• Fully custom sequential unit
• Price is £700 I'm told
• Runs an exchange process assuming your lights are in good nick. So it'll be a day install if that. (if your lights are tinted you'll have to remove this, if they're painted you'll have to discuss with Fortis, or leave it with them a few days, and if they're knackered you'll have to either buy the light hubs as well, without trade, or, buy them another set so I'm told )

I'll be having mine sent within the next 3 weeks ready for installation which i'll do at home, however most other people will have to go to one of their workshops for the exchange. They're aiming to have a set of modded lights ready to go for when each person turns up.

@Gibbo205 Man maths.... As I assume he will apply the same logic....

Rear lights = £265.37 per light WITHOUT VAT from Ford Parts UK. Buy those, give them as part of the exchange. I doubt he'll sell them any cheaper than that as he just bought the same set to offer the exchange.

Correct if you want RGBW it's more, then if you want halo's, demon eye, or painted bezels whilst the headlight is open, it's a bit more too . but cheapest end is £500 for the fronts, £700 all in for the rears, they said they can tint them whilst the lights are off too

Very nice indeed. Having just come home from New York (and seeing far fewer Mustangs/Camaros/Challengers than you'd think) it's annoying we're adding another £1k+ so it looks "normal", but there you go, such is life.

Not sure I care enough to spend the money (I don't). I'd never see it. I'd literally, never, get to enjoy the things. £700... for that. I don't know. 99% of people that see the car won't care, won't understand - they just love seeing a Mustang!

I'll go away now and come back once I've eaten my words ;)
