MBRP Race was really good from the outside but I couldn't stand it inside. For me it just drones too much. It gets really annoying when you're cruising around 90-100 km/h - I had an AT and always had to manually switch to a lower gear to raise RPMs coz it was really annoying around 1900-2100 RPMs. Actually some plastics in the cabin started to creak shortly after the installation.

1. You said that you have the US EcoBoost deck lid version. Do you know if the Stanginator will fit the normal EU version without any modification?

2. Maybe I missed it (the tread is too long) but where did you buy it from? Got a link?
1. No it will not fit because the EU panel has different holes to fit the faux gas cap and a few of them will remain visible if you fit a pony (original or Stanginator) on it.

2. Don't recall, most likely eBay or newtakeoff.com

It doesn't bother me at all, on the contrary! You could have disconnected the mic on the active noise control system, it really makes a difference. Anyway, now with the GT there is no need for an exhaust system, the sound is great I guess!

Thanks Eric. Do you know if it can replace the pony on the stock grille? It would be nice there too.

IMO, you're both correct.

If I had an AT, I'd never take a race/competition model of any brand with a S409 exhaust systems either. It's just inevitable that they'll drone around 2000RPM and the AT spends a lot of time around 2000RPM while cruising. If you live somewhere flat, don't ever cruise at constant speed or if that's just your taste, you'll probably never be bothered about it. It did get better after a while on mine, but still. Under load, I found it annoying as well. The loudness/boominess on the other hand does go away by unplugging the active noise control. That system can be a bitch with race/competition exhausts or turbobacks if you don't disconnect it.

Been working on a BIG build on a brand new stock car (26K on the odo). Guy wanted GT350 fenders fast. And since the lead time was over 8 weeks (even Anderson themselves is out of stock of those), I installed the ones on his car I was about to install on mine. Totally regretting that right now :frusty:

(don't mind the wheels just yet please :ninja:)

Is this a Matt black vinyl wrap? Saves a paint-job on the GT350 fenders

Yep! Helped a lot with the new bumper as well. The car was a Race Red and it's become a Matte Black with Race Red accents around the car. My mind just can't handle it when you open the door, trunk or hood of a black car, and everything inside is red :D Looks epic though.

Thought the same at first, but if you don't want them to be open, they're not. The plastic inside the wheel well stays exactly like stock. So no dirty doors. They won't be functional then though. Just look great.

Yeah it can. You have to specify the model year and location when you order one though, because apparently the curvature is slightly different between them.

Looks weird indeed if you don't wrap the inside visible metal parts as well. I heard that the company who does these wraps in the video uses a wire cutting technique and also can do the inside metal parts. (quite an expensive wrap though but still 50% cheaper than a clear x-pell wrap.

Btw, I spotted the EB from the video on second hand.be this week. [ame]

yep, I bought the dead pedal cover from AM.
I can't remember well but probably I had the same problem. To fix that (and maybe other in future), I added my stackry address to paypal address list :)

papinist I am getting back on this old post of yours. How did you add your stackry address to PayPal? I also tried to do this but it seems that PayPal only allows you to add an address in your country. Unless this feature is something new

Also, as we may need to trade our used parts in this thread, or even buy from a European distributor, I would like to take the opportunity to tell you about an alternative way for paying or transferring funds. It's called Revolut card and I subscribed about a year ago. It takes a few minutes to sign up and get approved, there are no fees for transferring or receiving money among Revolut owners and we get the low interbank exchange rate if need to buy something from a country with a different currency (eg. UK, USA). I am only mentioning this because it might facilitate selling our used parts in this forum.

They probably remove the ability to use an address in a different country since checking my paypal account, I now have only my main italian address.
However if the problem is the dead pedal cover, I remember John577 bought the same (or very, very similar) dead pedal cover from china :)

Yeah, they did. I am not interested in the dead pedal cover, I am just setting up my Stackry account and was trying to organize my addresses on ebay and paypal.

Can you still declare a lower fair price for the items sent via Stackry by making your own invoice? This would be great for all these overpriced automotive parts we keep buying...
