What's your experience driving around town at lights, stop signs, traffic and so on? I'm kind of on the fence of getting one just because of normal driving experience.

X2!Feels like stock just driving around until you hit the gas pedal. Then you need to hold on for dear life..........

*Yea go and listen to the idiot that doesn't own one, But posts some random youtube video instead!*:headbonk:
LOL what the F&^K does that video prove? Soooooo your saying......When you give it throttle. The RPMs go up? Who woulda thunk?:headbonk: OP go to the other converter thread recently opened in this section. And ask the guy with the pro charger running 9s what he thinks .His set up is closest to yours.

Or maybe your just such a Pusssy. That the small change feels Earth moving to you???:shrug:No need to edit!
I am sorry if your kitty got a little ruffled over that comment. I couldn't tell if you were trolling or showing us why special people reply in blue.
OP is looking for honest feedback on a converter. If you think the car drives "like stock", well you may just be a little more special tls earth moving to you.han I thought.
The video shows how the car does not drive "like stock". Drivability is not bad, it's just night and day from the factory converter. It takes more rpms to keep up with traffic. But gets into the power band a lot quicker when you do go WOT.
stay blue little srt guy.![]()
Circle D is a lock up converter. It will be exactly like stock at highway speeds when passing. Don't let one reject scare you away with a random youtube video of an idiot doing 10 miles an hour in a getto neighborhood. If you plan to do all of your driving at 15 miles an hour or less. A converter is horrible. For the rest of the normal people out there a converter is the best mod you can do to an automatic transmissioned car. Will the stall converter have a negative effect on the highway like passing someone or a rolling race?
Sweet! You'll be at least 1/2 a second faster at the drag strip with the parts you mentioned. Thanks guys for your feed back. I will get a Circle D 3C stall converter, pair of Weld 17" Racing wheels and MT ET STREET S/S Drag tires in March.
I also went with 17s! Went from hoosier slicks to et street R drag radials, can't wait to see how much of a difference they make at the track. Thanks guys for your feed back. I will get a Circle D 3C stall converter, pair of Weld 17" Racing wheels and MT ET STREET S/S Drag tires in March.
