Found this on instagram. Has anyone done anything like this before? Seen it? I would guess the motor would need building or E85 due to predetermined boost levels by the pulleys?

i cant see the image but i assume its turbo and supercharged?.. its usually more gimic then beneficial.. youre not going to get more power than just picking one or the other..

I would assume the only way to do this would be to build the motor. Glad others are able to see the image.

interesting still be same thing in my opinion. more of a gimmick. i doubt there is any benefit and probably just costs more.

That's what i was thinking, however, bet you are getting a lot more power. A twin turbo would be better in this case but the torque would be silly with that PD blower.

There could possibly be benefits to multi stage turbo setups. But the added weight and complexity probably would negate any possible advantages over a good single stage turbo system. Most all big HP diesels run compound boost and some north of 100psi. Its hard for them to spool gigantic turbos. Most gasoline engine racing classes probably wouldn't allow compound turbos anyway.

cant make more power then the engine can handle.. i doubt its any faster than each charger alone

I wonder would the size of the procharger bottleneck air flow past 800hp due to limitations of cfm.

I'm pretty sure that was the guy that was transitioning from Procharger to Whipple. He probably took the picture for the humor of it.
