Oil in throttle body

I was doing some pulls in my car and i checked my intake amd it was full of oil. I noticied that it happens in track mode when i redline it. Mods are aed tune and jlt intake. Any suggestions what it can be?

you have a catch can installed? if not then spend the $150.00. My JLT catches about a teaspoon of oil every couple of weeks.

I've got one from UPR that catches also about a teaspoon every 3-4 weeks.

I have a catch can on the passenger side pcv but the pil seems to be coming from the drivers side the one that connects to the intake tube.

what can it be... Normal.
you can help mitigate it though.

It only seems to happen after 7k rpm maybe its time for a oil change

I have this same driver side oil separator (its not a catch can - never has to be removed or drained). My JLT intake filter would flood with blow by oil after a 30 min track session. I installed the UPR oil separator and no issues since! I consider this a MUST for anyone tracking their cars or run them at high RPM for prolonged periods of time.

Just add in the comments that its for a 5.0 as I believe they may put a slightly different fitting on.

Thank you very much i had never seen that happen and i immediately started thinking of tearing apart the engine for the rebuild. I just ordered the oil seperator thank you again

Whats the reason the car system is design like this? Why doesnt it get an oil seperator from new? Whats the reason?
