So I'm tossing up between TSW Bathurst and VMB9.

Over here in Australia, the VMB are c.$600 more than the TSW.

Doing research on the manufacturing, TSW are Rotary Forged whilst VMB are Low-Pressure Cast. So based on the net, TSW should be better manufactured.

Thus not only are TSW cheaper, they are technologically superior?

What are people's thoughts/opinion please?

Their both good brands, it all depends on what your after.

Velgen has an amazing warranty, TSW has the rotory forged construction.

What does your gut tell you, like in when you look at the wheel which makes you smile and say I want those on the ride?

Both are very respectful brands. As for the construction, big difference is weight and also strenght when it comes to cast vs spun forged (rotary forged as TSW calls it). Also consider that TSW wheels is one of the oldest aftermarket wheel manufacturer in the world.

What which models were you look at it, we can help you pinpoint that perfect setup for you. We have setup many of our awesome clients in Australia. We would love to do the same for you.

Hope that helps, if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate, we are here to help.

Lifetime warranty... that's awesome! :headbang: That's why even though TSW has been at the aftermarket game since the 1960s, there are companies like Velgen that are offering great products and the warranty to back it up. That's all good in our book.

Thanks for the input guys.

Just wondering with the warranty, if the wheel is bought offshore, does the warranty still apply? How will it work?
Of course it applies, however I'm super close to Velgen so let me speak to them get the exact protocol for you as your in Au and I'll pm you the info

The warranty will be in full effect with almost all aftermarket wheel companies. Usually offer a one year on the finish and lifetime structural defeat warranty. Some companies go to the extend of offering a 5 year craftsmanship warranty.

So I just spoke to my guys at Velgen, the Owner and the manager directly. The warranty still stands for you and since you are in AU, should anything happen they have a location there that can then take care of that warranty claim for you directly in the country so you are in good hands.

velgen hands down much nicer styles and great customer service my advice though go with a 20x10.5 squared set up that is my only regret and that double concave look is amazing
The doable concave is def sexy.

These are just sexy on a s550

What are the specs of those VMB9's in the image please? And would you happen to have any images of them on a Shadow Black 'vert ?

Wheels are on my list when my GT 'vert arrives in the U.K. in a few weeks!

Thanks

Mike

On that particular car we had the 20" setup in Gunmetal
20 x 10.5 Rear with a 45mm offset
20 x 9 Front with a 32mm offset
