Got it in, just haven't installed it yet. Gave it a quick once over and everything looks good. The box is HUGE! Figured I'd post pics so others who are interested can see how everything is packaged, etc.

Might be hard to see but the splitter is textured. Was glad to see that.

I still haven't just yet unfortunately. I hope to soon when I have more time to tackle it and when it's not raining every other day. But I'll be sure to post pic when I do.

In the time being, I was able to paint the side marker area however. I did it with plastidip just in case I messed anything up using real paint. Came out pretty good I must say.

So, RedfireV8, have you had a chance to install this yet? We're all curious to see how it turned out.

The from bumper of my RaceRed GT PP was smacked into during the last snowstorm up here in MN. The chin spoiler and area near the license plate are a bit goobered up now so I'm in the process of trying to figure out how I want to repair it. This Ikon GT350 kit, the Steeda front bumper kit, or go with OEM.

I'm sorry if this has been asked before (so much research on this over the last week is messing with my memory), but does anyone know if this Ikon kit will fit on the Performance Pack GTs? I know the belly pan and chin spoiler are different on the PP equiped cars.

Thanks for the pic. Looks like the pan isn't an issue.

Something I just thought about though. What is the best thing to do with the unused wiring for the stock PP fog lights? Without seeing what's under there for myself I can't say for certain, but I'd imagine there will be at least 1 connection per side we'do have to somehow seal up (to avoid corrosion) and secure (to avoid it moving around).
Any ideas?

Zip tie too the harness and you can tape it up if worried of corrosion

That should work.
Looks like I'm probably going to order this unpainted. Will get some body shop quotes for painting to make sure I know what I'm getting into first.
Well...first will be taking off the front end to see if there is any other damage to mounts, shock absorbers, bumpers, etc first.

Quotes for painting my front bumper (stock one) were $400 to 900. The $900 one was a shop I know that can actually match Deep Impact Blue. I'm sure same range for this. (I ended up just buying a new bumper off of eBay shipped to my door for $300 and it had 5 miles on it.

Has anyone bought the performance package style lip from them yet? $89 is pretty good compared to the competition. Almost too good.

I'm interested in any feedback on fit and finish

I still haven't. The plan was this weekend but a few things came up. Plus it looks like its going to rain all next week. I hope to soon, possibly even next weekend. We shall see.

I've been wandering this so that's unfortunate to hear being that I'm a base. Hopefully it'll be as simple as drilling a few new holes through my current pan.

Really curious to see how the fitment and paint matching is on this, since I want to pull the trigger myself.

Keep us updated!

Installed yesterday. Will be giving my thoughts on the kit below and a small guide with pics in another post.

This was on a base car so I will share my experience with what I had to do on mine. I'm sure a PP car is probably similar with some minor differences (belly pan) but can't comment on that. I was able to fit my base belly pan with no issues and no additional holes needing to be drilled. Just a slight dremel to the front fender liner. With that being said, I can now see why you may not have come across any installs or guidelines. Let me explain.

Definitely give yourself more time on this as it is not as straight forward as one would think.. but perhaps I can help alleviate any hickups with my observations. I understand that Ikon has a slew of bumpers, spoilers, body parts, etc. for all the makes not just Mustangs but some sort of instructions would be appreciated. Unfortunately I can see where if there were any instructions, they would be very vague and generic. Possibly due to differences in MY and packages available for cars now a days. Also, when you go to put the front of the car back together with the new bumper you have to use clips, screws and pushpins off the original bumper to make it all fit back together properly. I will say though, that after everything and looking back, everything fit pretty dang well together I must say. Everything lined up as it should had.

Also, I looked pretty hard at the paint in varying degrees of light and I believe it is almost spot on, maybe ever so slightly a shade darker. Very hard to tell. No paint expert but I feel like the paint is really thin. I let my contact with Ikon know that when I had emailed them a month or so ago when I first received it. We shall see how well it holds up. If I decide to go with their GT350 rear bumper with valence, I may paint it myself. We'll see...

I won't say installing this is super hard and make you want to throw tools but it could come close for some. lol When we were done with putting everything back together and stood back and looked at it, thinking back, it wasn't too bad. It was just time consuming with trying to figure out what goes where and what was needed to make things fit together properly. It got dark when we were done so unprofessional iphone pics will have to do for now.

I won't really be giving a step by step how to but will just be general overview and what I found worked for me when installing the bumper.

First thing was a cool little Easter egg from the workers at the factory. Looks like a Gary "Something" signed the back of the radiator cover.

How everything looks behind the bumper looking through the front fender liner.

31631141154_0eb6949d8c_c.jpg

The bumper is held in by "slots" and one lonely screw by the fender. I broke one tab on my factory bumper but I don't think it's a real issue if I ever need to put it back.

31631141364_988c4cee55_c.jpg

Factory bumper off.

31631141544_c8454ce848_c.jpg

Behind the factory bumper. You'll be using some bits from back here to put on the Ikon bumper. Specifically the turn signals (obviously) and the u clips, screws and push pins that hold the factory splitter to the bumper. I'll miss my fogs but the 15+ Mustangs have great factory headlights, I think at least.

31631141734_4637401160_c.jpg

Fitting the turn signals to the Ikon lower, side grills. Note that when you go to screw in the few screws that holds the grill to the bumper, the holes do not "automatically" line up. You have to kind of push the screw pins up to allow the grill screws to line up/screw into them. These are kind of fragile as you'll be taking a metal screw and tightening it into a plastic post.

31631141744_f7b50808b3_c.jpg

You do have to move over the hood weatherstrip/seal. You take a pair of needle nose pliers and squeeze the bottom and push it out the holes. They just snap in place on the Ikon bumper.

31631141914_41460f9d92_c.jpg

The next few pics show the push pins and clips you'll need to remove from the factory bumper and splitter and move onto the Ikon bumper. Those 3 "L" tabs are on both sides. For a minute I thought we would be cutting them off as they didn't look to fit anywhere. But after getting the belly pan lined up, the holes matched up perfectly. I don't know if this is how Ikon intended it to be installed as it doesn't look right but hey, it's secure and seems to work just fine. The u clips weren't long enough to slide on so I just used em like nuts instead. The 4 push pins you see are transferred over from the factory splitter and holds on the Ikon splitter to the Ikon bumper. All holes lined up perfectly. This is on both sides of the bumper.

A better pic of those "L" tabs I was talking about.

The one connector you won't be using is the fog light connector. I taped it up with electical tape really, really good and zip tied it out of the way.

31631142544_db3b7ebd29_c.jpg

Also got the Howler Badge installed. Would of been white but they were sold out before I could get one.

Random fit pictures. Nothing was adjusted. This is an exact true fit.

Completed. The paint looks off in some pics due to my lights. 2 lights are bright white, while the other 2 are yellowish. But like I said in the right light it may just be a shade darker, it's very close.

Thank you! That ended up looking pretty great!

I'm still a little weary about the install, might wait a bit more on this one, but damn it looks good.
