It's Kona Blue.
I'm not so sure. I've got a listing for a 2017 GT PP in Lightning Blue open in one tab, and a Carmax listing for an S197 in Kona Blue open in another tab.

Judge for yourself.

Just remembered:doh:, but on a track.

Maybe they now mean in a straight line. Or is the '15 GT with PP faster in a straight line than a Boss ?
With (we assume) more power, Magneride suspension and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, the 2018 should absolutely destroy a Boss...

quick one, tried to do a gt350
Nice try, but you need to lower the lower front fascia. Sits way too high. I like the idea though.

Boss is a little faster in a straight line, stock for stock.

The GT PP is faster around most racetracks than a Boss (non LS) already, so the '18 with PP, let alone PP + Mag Ride, should destroy it, and handily beat the current GT PP. Michelin PS4 + ~30 more HP will do that.

so any thoughts if the 10 speed or gauges will be compatible with the 15 or 16? thats all that really interests me about this new design
I mean honestly. Why are people asking this when the car was literally just revealed today and won't even be available until Fall.

Depending on how much of a hp/tq bump it gets, I'd like to see it run a gt350 on the track. I know the gt350 will beat it but with more power, magride, michelins, and the A10 tranny, I bet the gtpp isn't far behind and wouldn't take too many bolts on's and tune to keep up. I hate autos but that video of the ZL1 going through the gears in the A10 is awesome.

I would expect the 2018 PP with Mag Ride to be considerably faster at the track, and with the 10spd auto, in a straight line too.

I bet you're right, at the very least, if it can keep up with a 2SS stock for stock, that'll be a win.

Here's hoping a '18 GT PP2 with A10 should be a 4.0s 0-60 car just like 2SS.

Front end still looks like absolute piss. I was initially happy about the hood but the overhead shots killed that. Way too many unnecessary angles and curves.

I love the interior though, The standard quad exhaust is great, Taillights are great, The rear valance is great. I just cant accept that front end.

The tires will be the single biggest improvement, though. Going from those (mostly crap) Pirellis to Michelin Pilot Sport 4S will be a MASSIVE improvement.

Now it has been revealed.... Now the next reveal is what are the special packages.... GT/CS? Mach 1? I feel those will end up coming in 2019 instead.

I dont even know why people ask about the 10 speed...you'll spend so much money doing that to try to do it to a 15-17 why even bother.

The gauges probably but it will be such an endeavor it's probably not possible for most. Add in the computer tech needed....nightmare.

I thought the same thing. But I'm 90% sure I'll end up pulling the trigger this fall. :headbang:

I know but being more patient might pay out. it now no longer becomes a 1st year car, so the 2019 might get better packages along with fixing what ever issues may come from the upgrades on the 2018 refresh.
