ah this is interesting, you managed to find a ford dealer which would do the US TSB (do not kknow if TSBs are worldwide or just for the US market) for the heating seats in Europe?
Yes, my local Ford Store applied the TSB, although I had to tell them it existed.

The results made the seat better, but still nowhere as good as it should be, and certainly not what is advertised.... so ive got a refund.

Hum might have to try telling them as well :)
Actually, I have to qualify myself here.

I told them the TSB existed, and they told me they applied it, and when I got the car back there is indeed a difference.... but actually for all I know maybe they did something else.... and in any case now they are refunding the option price.

This is really interesting since no one in the US had a refund for that! Obviously I bet that Ford didn't admit the fault on that option; it's only your dealer that is a good guy and go for the refund :)

different rules in EU... for me it's not worth the hassle... seeing as I only have 2 days above 14'C per year :D

I do wish the driving modes would stick though... maybe not track mode, but atleast sport and wet&snow (since I use that daily for almost half the year)... mistoggled the other day and instead of wet&snow I ended on track-mode... that was a few scary moments...

Yeah drive mode memory is a very weird omission.

Today was freezing rain day!

Only -3c, but some interesting conditions out and about. Just about everything (incl the motorways) had a 0.5cm layer of clear on it.

>450 accidents recorded just on the Mway system here in NL. Bit daft to take the GT on my 100km commute, but I did anyway :)

The service interval is 15.000 km or one year, whichever comes first. In your case it's the latter.

It's programmed at 10000KM though, I had the warning pop up at 7500 as well and did my service at 10k or exactly 1 year.

No it's actually an alogithm that uses time and average use and puts in spare time to make an appointment with your service station. Mine came in at about 14.000. But then again I reached that point in about 5 months after delivery. If yours already came in at 7500 you must have found a bug in the algorithm, unless that was 11 months after delivery liek with gojensen.

Was around 8 or 9 months ...

Talking about bugs, I have spotted a gauge display bug since the beginning... when you switch from Trans temp to oil temp there's a glitch. At least on mine!

Had my first service last week @ exactly 15.000km (9 months).
Warning sign popped-up at about 14.600km. So exactly as it should be.
I paid 242€ for the first service, which my dealer said is the official rate and should apply at any dealer you go.
