How did you see the IC temps?

I'll datalog a drive tomorrow with some temperatures to compare!
Might be wrong on this one, air inlet temps sorry!

Interesting to know you can monitor all sorts of stuff with the Cobb AP, other than a tune it could just be a monitoring device if some might ask what it is

Inlet temp is on the OEM display as well. Mine doesn't go more than 2-5 degrees over ambient in this weather. Stock IC as well.

Ow ok :D Yeah, than that's inlet temp indeed. Easy mistake!

The list of parameters that you can monitor is insane. I tell people it's my anti-theft-device :D (which isn't a lie btw)

Like Eric said: 10-15°C above ambient seems warm though (unless in a traffic jam, standing still, ...). While driving I usually have +1°C over ambient, but that's with aftermarket IC and CAI. Engine oil is the same as you, but that's probably cause I don't hammer it in the winter :D

Can't hammer it right now on my summer tires!

I did monitor the temps in semi slow traffic, didn't monitor on the highway though. For the oil & cooling fluid, just noticed it cooled off so fast except for the transmission, this remained about the same.

That expains the difference. On the highway ambient +1 is what I usually see, unless it's really hot outside. In trafic it gets up by a few degrees.

This is also why a bigger intercooler is more a luxury item than an absolute necessity. The real benefit of a bigger intercooler is that it will keep the air inlet temp around ambient longer when you're either in traffic on a warm day or when you're hitting high speeds for a longer period of time. It doesn't give an improvement in absolute performance but it does give an improvement in stamina; the ability to keep the engine running at maximum performance for a longer period of time under hotter conditions.

Got an e-mail from my dealer. My car got a new build date for the second time. Now its build on dec 12, with an eta at my dealer on feb. 4. This is just shy of 8 weeks. Does this sound doable? How long did You guys wait?
Actually don't mind to pick it up untill march when they stop using salt on the roads.

No no, I placed my order on August 31. I wanted the yellow jacket stitching, wich my dealer had to investigate into, cus it wasn't on his ordering scheme. He tried to tell me off that 'it must be a Germany-only option', and since Denmark is so small we didn't get all options here. :frusty: But I held on mine. I want what I want. Guess the dealer got more work than he first thought.
The 8 weeks I'm talking about is from actual build to delivery at my dealership.

8 Weeks is actually doable, it all depends on the waiting times in between all the steps from getting the car from the factory to your country. There are waiting lines before the upfitters (installing EU software and such), the transport to Baltimore, the shipping to Bremerhaven, clearing customs and getting it from Germany to Danmark. With most of our cars these waiting times have been quite long, resulting in total time of 3 months or longer. But maybe at the moments they have less volume and everything goes faster.

So, my doors are acting strange... Suddenly this has changed and it's not so practical.

When opening the car at driver side or opening car with the key in general, the passenger door and trunk stay locked. So if my passenger want's to get in or put something in the trunk, I have to open it from the inside the car. Or be standing really close to this doors with the key.

Never been like this, normally when opening the car with the key (even on big distance) all doors are unlocked, now only the driver door.
Wath did I do, or how can I fix. Anybody an idea?
