I am currently so torn as to which exhaust and appearance package (Valence) to get.

I had a certain vision for my Mustang as I have mentioned before in another post.

Love the look of the GT350 valence and the Touring or Sport exhaust by Borla do sound pretty good to me.
But what sounds even better is the Roush Exhausts (to me anyways).
So I am torn between getting the GT350 valence/exhaust or the Roush Quad Tip/Valence.

If I get the Roush Quad Tip, I may eventually also get their active setup.
Either way I, I have to get the stupid Premium Bumper first (since I have base GT) and then get it painted. That in itself will be a pretty penny.
And then I am also worried will the paint truly match my car.

On the other hand I am thinking screw both options and just get a Roush Axel Back setup and call it day. It will still sound good I am sure.

Probably will still get the Track Pack Spoiler either way.

I was looking at the VMP Performance “Track Attack” Sema Build and their rear Diffuser/Valence looked interesting but I just couldn’t find a good pic of the rear. Looks like a regular premium bumper and valence but just painted with a difference scheme to make it stand out.

Oh man, decisions decisions…such a First World Problem..haha..

GT350 valance w/ exhaust and active Roush Quad w/ valance are super pricey. I love the look of quad tips but I just can't justify spending $2k+ just for an exhaust. The Roush AB can be had for $480 and IMO it sounds the best.

Just keep an eye out for members selling premium bumpers already cut ready for an aftermarket valance MyPro5.0 has one but not so sure about shipping, just mentioning since it's magnetic no need to worry about paint though as it's factory. I'm also looking for one, just not cut.

I'd say go with the roush, as for myself as well the roush ABs w/ any x pipe sounds great.

I never liked quad somehow. Can't wait to put my 4.5 inch tips on.
Quad is nice if you have a faster car but for a GT, it's too much.

Quad is so badass. I'd go that route on my V6 but my $$$ is not on quad level!

I could be wrong but with the GT350 rear I would imagine you could cut the tips off of whatever axlebacks you have and have a custom quad tip made in order to have tips going into the slots since it technically already has the chrome "tips" built into the bumper.

I know someone who did this with his Roush axlebacks and said they were charged about $200 for the custom "tips".

Also, IKON Motorsports makes a GT350 replica rear for around $400. Much cheaper than going through Ford and having to buy the whole rear/Borla exhaust together.

If I remember right, the Ikon's fitment is not quite there with the quads...it touches.

I've think the only car I've seen it on was Terminated and he actually custom fit his Corsa tips to work with the IKON rear.

What do you mean by "it touches" though lol

If you get the Roush Valence, you can also get the Corsa quad tip exhaust. It lines right up.

They look cool, if you're into that sort of thing.

I find it hilarious when I see 4-banger cars with quad tips (WRX, STI, Golf R, CLA45). One tip for each cylinder

I'm looking at doing a premium bumper swap, IKON diffuser, and then purchasing a set of Quad tips from corsa. I will just cut/tig them to fit.

If someone would sell a damn premium OW bumper I'd be all over it. I don't like the stock diffuser on the premium but would love to add an aftermarket.

For anyone who knows has this setup:

Does the Roush Rear Valence with sensors fit over the bumper where the sensors are?

Meaning, does the valence sensor hole fit over the bumper sensor hole?

Hope that makes sense.

The reason I ask, the forum member who is currently selling his Mag. Rear Bumper has sensor holes on it (my base GT does not come with sensors).

But from what I can tell and see from Pics, the Roush Valence with sensors would fit over that part, hopefully covering it up and make it look normal?

Does seem like the plastic would cover the sensor holes.
They make one with the holes.
