As impressive the Toyo Proxes R888 tires are, Toyo has managed to take it even to the next level with their all new R888-R version. With a new tread design and improved contact patch, the Toyo Proxes R888-R are able to deliver improved handling and faster lap times on the track. The Proxes R888-R has also been developed to reach optimal operating temperature much faster than before.

It was only suitable to install the very first set we received on fellow enthusiast and great friend SCRuby’s supercharged beast. With well over 700 horsepower, this upgrade was much needed to ensure proper traction and handling capabilities. Measuring 295/30/19 front and 305/30/19 in the rear, this set will make sure all horses are touching ground.

Check the review from our good buddy Dennis

"I can't thank Need4Speed Motorsports enough for their service and dedication to world class customer service. That said I was able to try out the New R888R's for the first time on a very spirited drive on Mulholland Hwy. I have driven Mulholland more times then I care to admit in my Mustang and all I can say is I will never run anything other than these R888R's. They gave me the best traction I've ever experienced both in going into a hairpin turn and excellerating out of the turns with the full force of the 686 Rwhp my car is putting down to the wheels. Not once did I experience any sliding or chirping of the tires during a downshift. With every turn my confidence grew in the ability of these tires to handle what I asked of them. On another note I daily drive my car and the R888R's are very smooth and their noise level is less then the previous R888's. I only notice a beautiful low level hum when I reach 80+ mph. I highly recommend these for anyone looking for the ultimate traction for their car."

Nice pics and write-up. They make a 315/35-20 that would fit me quite nicely. Interesting. Being an "R" tire, could one expect to get 10k miles doing conservative DD with occassional blasts?

Thank you for your kind words, we are always trying something new here at Need 4 Speed Motorsports and love to share the info with fellow enthusiasts. 10k would be a bit of stretch, we have have gotten anywhere from 5k-8k with the previous R888 model.

Dennis likes to have fun :D We are looking forward to Toyo releasing the 325 or 315 size. The 315 size would be just perfect. We will switch out the 305 in the back of Dennis's ride when the 315 comes in. We have been contact with Toyo direct and they have said hopefully by Spring 2017.

How would these compare to the RE 71R , NT01 or the AD08R?

They are all in the same ballpark..would be fairly comparable however we are getting really good feedback from the new Toyo R888R. It would be nice to have a set mounted on very similar cars and take a day trip to Willow Springs and put them to the test. Hopefully sometime in the near future we can do that report back our findings.

If u you want to sponser a 20" set for my hellcat I would be willing to help test. I would prefer chuckawala since it's closer but may be able to make it to willow. My stock pirelli's suck.

Looks like we will need have a talk to Toyo and see what they can do. It would be awesome to see that beast of yours on the track putting down over 700 horsepower down to the wheels. The factory Pirelli do suck, agreed!

Good afternoon fellow enthusiasts, since the new R888R tires only go up to a 305 width, we also can provide the R888 model which is available in the 295/30/19 front 325/30/19 rear.

Make sure you are planting all your horsepower to the pavement. :headbang:
