Should we make the prototype VMP Performance "Time Attack" Heat Extractor hood a production model? We're going to let you decide! Let us know!

I like the look of it. I'm sure there's going to be a market for the GT350 style hoods with the front end conversion kits becoming more available.

Love the center, recessed style heat extractor (would _not_ like a clear window, regardless of being able to see a supercharger).

I'd love it if it didn't have the window.

Dump the window, otherwise a great looking hood.

That window seems to be scratch magnet. If it's glass (instead of lexan or plexi), it would be cool...otherwise, no window!

Talk about a poor man's RS8.

Reminds me of a Subaru WRX. Not a fan of the window either.

P.S. I like the paint job though, very unique and awesome.

anything that lowers the hood ala GT350 or upcoming 2018 redesign would be a welcomed addition, IMO

Add in functional heat extraction for us track folks, and I'd be interested for sure.

oh, but with no window...

Love the heat extractor, hate the glass window, Also if you could give it some height in back to clear Boss and CJ manifolds...even better!

With a reasonable price tag and no window....could make this an attractive mod.

Looks good. If it's going to be an "extractor" hood, please make it truly functional. Another brand has a heat extractor hood, but looking at the underside I can't see where the exit pulls from. Keep it open with a grill and a detachable rain guard. That way it can actually promote radiator flow and relieve under-hood pressure.

What about a less-aggressive GT4 inspired hood?

Edit: Minus the window, as others have suggested

Definitely make the hood for production! Personally I can live with or without the glass - not a deal breaker for me...pretty sure the window is a nod to the ZRI.

If you elect to go without the glass I'd like to see a slight rise in the hood in the same exact location, similar to the rise on the M3 hood.
