I actually don't have issues with Sirius cutting out all the time and I'm in North Jersey (trees n shit). I will lose a signal for a second or two in really thick wooded areas but generally speaking its fine.

Also, as much as I love black on these cars (and most), I got white because it hides almost everything. I know my car has light swirling, but unless my nose is in the paint, I can't see it. Out of sight = out of mind!
I'm in North Jersey as well.

I have a black GT as well. It stays clean for maybe an hour after I wash it (If I'm lucky). Every time I shut the door U get fingerprints above the handle, with the fall leaves it gets covered with dust, every time it rains the water pools on the trunk and hood and leaves spots, I won't even mention the swirls and scratches, but overall I love the car. I spent a fortune on compounds, polishes, waxes, and other various things to keep the car looking good, it's a full time job. :)

10) Amendment to Rule 7: There is but one true color and it's name is Guard.
That's the color my wife wants. She keeps trying to get me to buy her a Guard vert. :frusty:

The electronic nannies on this car are *far* from useless. Turn each of them off and then go WOT all through town, making a lot of hard turns. The before and after difference is obvious.

Yea, the Pirellis are crummy tires and the paint is way thinner than I expected it to be. Blame the gubment on that though.
My previous car was a newer BMW 5-series. The traction control would kick in all the time when accelerating on wet surfaces from a dead stop. The Mustang spins for 1-2 seconds before it may kick in. I was recently stopped by the police because of this. He told me to put the traction control on, when it already was. Luckily didn't get a ticket :p

I put a $600 Ditec ceramic paint protection with 7 years warranty on the car when it was new. It didn't help me avoid the paint damages. I'm now considering to confront them on this, to see if I can claim any repairs. I doubt it though. Thinking about some sort of wrap or something.

Just because its Monday....

1) Sync3 is the ...

2) Sync3 is the ...
For me, the Mustang's interface has never been a deciding factor when purchasing.

3) Despite the arrival of the modern Mustang, it remains an American muscle car in every sense ...
BINGO! :)

4) I have gotten a lot more looks and compliments on the car than I would have imagined.
Again, never a deciding factor for me.

5) Besides a few bad plasticky pieces on the door and center console, the interior of this car is actually a REALLY nice place to be in...
BINGOx2! :D

6) My initial impression of the different gauge/interior LED colors (MyColor) was a gimmicky ploy. I have come to love this feature over time ...
Never cared about MyColor, only cared if it was MyStang. ;)

7) Black is the best color to get this car ...

8) Black is the worst color to get in this car ...
Yup. I had a black SHO Ecoboost ... was perpetually dirty. :(

9) Get the Performance Pack ... sometimes I accidently brake too hard ... As for the 3.73 gears, you will come to embrace it ... sometimes you will hate it ...
Don't road race my car, PP not a concern.

10) (Fill in your truth here)
Truth is ... I'd rather drive a Stang.

Number 4, wow, I had no idea this car would bring me this much attention. I came from a 2016 GTI, which is basically camouflaged with the rest of the commuter cars on the road. Driving in the Mustang at first was weird because I could see people looking at me (stock fishbowl with no tint). I've already had a few people ask me about my car when it was parked and give me compliments. And I have a V6! Ford nailed the styling on this thing.

I have since added tint to the car as being conspicuous isn't really my style and I like my privacy. But part of the reason I got this car, in big bright lightning blue at that, was to step out of my comfort zone and have some fun. Driving this car is like an event every time. It's a fun extension of my otherwise reserved personality.

Sync blows btw, but most car software does. The media unit in the base cars is deplorable. No aux jack? I can't configure the bluetooth pin? A 4 in screen? Carplay should be standard across the whole line. My GTI BASE MODEL had Carplay. There's some really silly cost cutting in these cars, but I can live with it.

The Ford engineers got this one right by far the sexiest car under $100k

Best car I ever had and I had many. The 5.0 is very addictive

To be honest I get way more attention and complements driving this than my Mustang. It is a daily occurrence.

And when it comes to high performance cars Race Red is the only color to have. ;)
