I tried to load my tune for the first time, and I am getting an error message before anything happens that says I need to update. Well, the X4 comes with a giant sticker on it that says update before use, so I had already checked. I am up to date. Just for grins, I tried to update wirelessly since I was sitting in my car, on the verge of tears. I got another error message, saying that the device is unable to find the update. I can't drive my car now, because I put the new intake on and a tune is required. I guess I could put it back to stock, but I don't want to. Wah.
I called SCT, and they wouldn't help me unless I was at the car with a windows computer and the tuner in hand. That's a lot to ask when your hours of operation are M-F 9AM-6PM. The man was super helpful letting me know that I could just do this on my lunch break though.
Anyway, I guess I have this to figure out now. Good thing I have another vehicle to drive.
Anyone else have any similar experience with an X4 tuner? I'd love to hear if you did and how you got it sorted out.
Please, no nguage fanboys telling me I should have gotten that instead.
