I was wondering if there is an advantage of using SCT x4 tuner with crank relearn and Lund flex tune vs Lund NGauge? I would like to go with a flex tune setup but able to use the crank relearn if the vehicle throws the specific code. Also how does the Livernois flex fule tune compares to Lund?

It's personal preference on which device you want to use.

Tune will be the same no matter which device

Will the sct x4 have the crank relearn? For a DD in Chicago midwest weather, do you guys recommend the lower temp thermostat with the lund flex tune? Is there a mustang6g promo code? Thanks.

Do you use the lower thermostat as well? Also does lund tune adjusts the fans automatically once the tune is installed even with the stock thermostat?

Yes, Lund automatically adjusts the fans to come on sooner (unless you request otherwise). I've been running the Lund tune for over a year with the stock thermostat and all is good. I did pick up a 170 from lethal, but I have not got around to installing it yet.

Thats good to hear bud. I will be going this route also. What is the set rev limit on this tune? Did you feel any difference even running 93 octane on flex tune vs stock?

I don't have a Lund FF tune but have a custom dyno tune from a reputable shop in the Atlanta area.

I picked up close to 30RWHP/18RWTQ on my 93 tune. Went from 385RWHP to 415RWHP. After E85 and a conservative timing on my E85 tune, I am at 423RWHP/390RWTQ SAE in 96 degree weather.

My redline is set at 7400RPM. I shift about 7100-7200.

Thanks Todd. Awesome numbers for sure. I was actually waiting for the FRPP power pack 2 tune but for what you are getting i don't think its worth it. Looks like the engine is still reliable with the tune and running e85. I will post my dyno and track results also. Can't wait to see and feel the difference.
