Great numbers. Long tubes plus catless mids would get you around 450 whp but honestly cat deletes by themselves are not worth much from the dynos I have seen. Little to no gains as the stock cats are like 600 cell so lots of cells for exhaust to flow through.
Really? That's the first I've heard of that. Can you post some links to the threads of the cat delete dynos?

I gained 16rwhp from the mak cat deletes on my 2015 GTPP. I think most of the gain comes from having a full 3 inch all the way back when you delete the cats.

Smells though!
I'd say my cat deletes and flexfuel tune are the best mods I did power wise. May I ask what happened to your 15 GT?

I traded my 15gt in on a c6z.

About a month after I bought the c6z the engine blew up (common issue on the c6z) and I ended up putting a Texas speed 441 long block in it with ls6r cam and a few other mods. 20k later of course. Lol. Made 600rwhp and I decided I'd try to sell it. It sold and I ordered another s550 GTPP.

Never been happier.

Good God, selling my '15 GT for a C6Z would be a dream come true. Although I am terribly scared of dropping a valve (I'm assuming this is what happened to you). Hope you came out on top and didn't lose too much/any money on the Z. Are you planning on boosting your new GT down the road?

The lack of power must be underwhelming when compared to your C6Z.

To be honest I don't miss the c6z much. The power was incredible but the interior and comfort of the car was horrible considering what they cost.

The heat inside the cabin from the headers is pretty bad, seats are really chinsy and the electric doors are enough to drive most crazy. Lol.

Ground clearance was an issue everywhere you went. Just lots of little things. Of course every time i went wot I forgave all of they above. Ha.

Car ran 10.2@138mph with a 1.72 60 foot on an NA setup. In the right hands it could hit 9s.

I'll post some pics.

OMG. How did you let that thing go.
It wasn't easy but I sunk so much into it I knew that with a brand new motor in I could get more for it.

I'm glad I did sell it though because those cars have dropped nearly 10k in value since last year. I'm seeing c6zs with low miles in the mid 30s all the time now.
