Someone gave me advice to wait for about 3 months after I get a car before I decide what I want to do to it. When I ordered my Mustang I started a list of all things that I potentially wanted to do to it and thought if I put my orders in I could have everything ready when it arrived. Time went by and I didn't end up ordering anything and now that I have had my car for about 3 months the only things I ordered were an oil catch can, a spare wheel and a carpet mat for the boot. I am glad I waited because if I ordered some of the other things I had on my list there would be a few that I would be reselling. Not saying that I won't do things every now and then (like get an axle back exhaust one day) but I think things can get a bit out of hand in the excitement of it all (which I fully understand).

I totally agree. 12 months in my wait I have-
A spare wheel
Number plates / custom
A clutch spring (A safe bet at 30 bucks)
A rubber boot liner
And some mud splats

The rest can wait until I drive it and know what I want

Looks like a tight squeeze as well. I have to get out arse first when parked in my garage lol
At the first click, the door is pretty much right on the wall rubber.

As I exit, I pirouette on my right foot to turn around and lift my left leg and arse out of the car simultaneously whilst being careful not to make any contact with the door sill.

It's an acquired skill - not a door ding or sill scuff yet!

You should start yoga classes while you wait for the car!

Solid advice! I definitely want to wait until after delivery before I consider any performance modifications; The one exception being an axle back exhaust.

Most of the mods I'm getting excited by are the cosmetic ones. Would love to get an aftermarket bonnet and vinyl stripes to make it stand out a bit more :)

If you are thinking about changing the wheels and tyres then doing it sooner rather than later will enhance the resale value particularly of the tyres.
