Hi Guys.

I've been reading ALOT on this forum for some time now, and its by far the best source for info on these euro cars. Thanks to all of You. :headbang:

But now its soon time for me to go and place my order for a GT. But I wanna do it the right way the first time, so I could use a little help from You. My Ford dealer in Copenhagen, Denmark know Mustangs as much as I know quantum physics. :frusty: Went there the other day, and told him that I was in the market for one, and knew what I wanted so he didn't need to try and sell me one. He walked me upstairs where they had 3 on display, but he couldn't really tell the difference. Though he nailed the difference between the fastback and convertible. :clap2:

Anyhow, this is what I want: Black, fastback GT, MT.
As for the options I can choose:

Custom Pack 1:
Chrome DLO (new), c/o GT Perf Pack Wheels (I4), unique Wheel Finish (V8) - Branded Audio (c/o), Navigation (c/o) and Black Raven PCAP (LHD only) - Reverse Park Assist (c/o) and Climate Controlled Seats (c/o)

Or:

Custom Pack 2:
Same as Pack 1, but with Luster Nickel wheels and no chrome around the windows.

I would really like to not have chrome surrounds, since I want an all black car. The black wheels I can probably live without for a little while, if I can't strike a deal with them for some black ones.

But reading about the nicer interior, yellow stitching ect... made me think. What option do I choose to have the nicer interior, or is it not possible with a Custom Pack?

I maybe have a month and a half left before I have to place my order. Need the car in April 17, for my nieces confirmation (don't know if its the right word, something whit saying yes to god in church:amen:).

I don't like chrome or shinny wheels on dark cars.

Check out the EU Mustang builder I made for the german forum:

http://mustang6.de/app.php/page/builder

Play around with the colors, premium package, etc. Also you have custom decals and usual mods people are doing to their stang here. Guess it would help a lot in the decision to buy the package or not

Awesome Builder. But Non-Premium get me the black window surrounds, but don't we only get the PP Premium if GT is selected in EU? In the Danish Ford webpage I can't choose between premium on/off.
And what else is the difference between the two options?

The wheels are different between the 2

Have to go and talk to the dealer soon, and see what they can do for me. Just want a black car with black surrounds and black wheels. The wheels I can easily aftermarket though

Worst case is refinish the wheels or chrome trim in black. Which ever is cheaper.

Personally I wouldn't worry too much about the plastics between the pack and non-pack version, there is a difference indeed but it's very minor. The real difference is in the seat upholstery which in case of the pack is slightly better quality fake leather than it is in the the non-pack. Also the stitching pattern is nicer.

If you don´t require seat heating then do what I did: get a non-pack with Recaros. The are really nice and give the interior a much more premium appeal than slightly less cheap door plastics. Plus you get the black trim and the black wheels you want so you don't have to pay to change those. And on a non-pack car you can still get the essential options (nav/audio/parkingradar) as separate options for a total of around 600 euro less than the pack price, which sortof reduces the additional cost of the Recaros to 1200.

The non-premium interior has fake stitching, while the premium is looking a bit nicer with real stitching and has soft touch surfaces

Here's a comparison of the seats, left non-premium, right premium

I overall think the premium interior looks way better. And with the new premium package 2 you can always have premium interior while having black exterior. Don't forget you get the better sound system with the premium package or when you buy the navigation system :headbang:

I chose to not get the premium, or, custom, pack, for the very reason of a black window surround and black wheels. Got the car cheaper, and honestly, don't miss the details.

Why not choosing the pack number 2, which all the cool stuff (Navigation, heated/cooled seats, nicer interior and seats) but still having black rims and window surroundings?

I ordered mine in May of 2015, back then there was only one pack, the 'Custom Pack' which had the bright wheels and the chrome surround. The only other alternative was buying certain options separately and I didn't value GPS enough to pay that much ;)

Am I the only one that got the custom pack cheaper than the sum of the other options? I'm very satisfied with it though... and being a convertible I didn't get the chrome window surrounds :D

I called the Fordstore last friday and booked a testdrive this wednesday. I could choose between a auto GT or a MT Eco. I wanted to try a MT GT, but not so bad that I wanted a 3,5-4 hour roundtrip to the secondnearest Fordstore.
So a GT testdrive it is. Probably the same car I testdrove some 10 months ago.
But if all goes well I will order my car after the testdrive, and put down the 50.000dkr (6700Euro) they want upfront. And then the rest 680.000dkr (91.300Euro) in 6 months. :hail:
Did You guys pay the full price of the websites, or did You get a discount, or some upgrades?
And anything I need to be aware of when I place my order?

damn that's a steal :(

As far as I was told (atleast up here in Norway) Ford didn't "allow" discounts or stuff... I got a great deal on some winter tyres and rims though along with excellent service ... I did end up saving 50000 NOK but that was due to late delivery and new tax regulations coming into play...
