Enkei TY-5 - Hyper Silver?

I just ordered pearl black. Imagine a fully powder coated wheel in black paint. Then the outer faces are machined (lathe cut) to bright shiny aluminum. Then clear-coat the entire wheel with a black tinted clear. Now the mirror-like faces are more like smoked glass on a coffee table insert. Get it?

Here are all the real-world pics I have.
The second photo clearly (pun) shows the tinted clear finish over the machined spoke faces. Stance SF-03 also offers this finish.

I plan to install the wheels next week and then I will post more pics.

My wife's car came with Enkei's (OEM wheels) & they are holding up well & still look great @ 60K miles.

21.95lb for 19x9.5 35offset. Thats the reason I look at those wheels

Honestly, I liked the looks of Stance SF-03 a little better (and still do). But the Enkei's were a close second, and they don't have to be sent out for domestic machining for final fitment. So that is probably why they cost less and have a faster delivery time. Plus Enkei has racetrack cred, and they brag about their stress testing standards, so I gave them the nod. They also have a Texas warehouse, so they probably are in stock most of the time.

Anyway, that is part of my research that I am sharing.

I rolled the dice with Pearl Black, because my car needs a little meaner look. Also, gloss black is the "tertiary" color in my scheme. And the tinted clearcoat seems to be a modern thing on supercars, so...
