If you want to drop me your vin I will see if I can find it or any information
Thanks Eclipsar - I'll PM you my VIN. Do you have access to same database (Vista?) as Karen and Stacey - or something better? :hail:

Quick question (Manders might know too): I've had my VIN and build date since early April, it's been built, it's been gate released, and it's supposedly at the dock awaiting a boat as I write. And all this time (i.e., since it was built on April 25) I've had an ETIS page with all of the usual build details (though it never got to the third stage with bits from the up-fitters, interior colours etc). But now my ETIS page has disappeared - no record of my VIN at all. So WTF? I've tried a number of browsers and devices - same result. Is this ominous or a new stage (perhaps it's on a boat?)

Help appreciated

John
I did a paste and copy onto etis once and left a space at the front, came up not registering, easily done )

Panic over - it's just come back. It wasn't a mistyped entry (I've registered with ETIS and the VIN was in its lookup history, only no vehicle came up under it for a while). Perhaps it was just ETIS updating (though with no more information than before)?

Thanks for advice y'all

Too late to help, sorry.
This happened to me one Sunday so must be an update thing going on?

Suspect I know the answer to this already, but generally do dealers need to be chased in order to supply the VIN? I guess this is probably a "depends on the dealer" answer....

Actually, can only the dealer supply the VIN, or can [email protected] help out?

I ended up telling my dealer what my VIN was, the ladies at [email protected] will be able to get your VIN for you.

Out of curiosity, what's the longest you guys have had to wait from docking in Southampton to the dealer, my dealer is sayin they have cars going back from March only just arriving. Not to sure whether to believe them or not.
3 days, I think I'm actually the quickest Southampton->dealer turn around. The Irish and those on islands like Gibraltar may have had longer waits, however mainland UK should not expect a wait time from MARCH to NOW (aka 2 and a half months!!!) from Southampton to the dealer, could build one and ship it to the dealer on a proper timescale quicker than that.

The trick is, to track your car, once it arrives in zeebrugge, tell your dealer. Once It is booked on a boat to Southampton, tell your dealer, when it's in Southampton, tell your dealer and ask them to prioritise it (can only be done mon-fri). Then chase them everyday for prioritisation. This worked for me, and worked for another chap on the forums :)

Sent an email to [email protected], what's the usual turn around time for them getting back to you? I just want to check that they have my order in the system and it's as ordered at the dealer.

[email protected] normally reply within a day, sometimes within the hour. They are pretty good! It is the bank holiday weekend now though.

Exciting times isn't it

Mines on the system as a confirmed order, all details correct as per order at dealership, but obviously no build date yet, little to early for that, but I'll let you know when I do.
