Spoke to Twiggy after he signed off and it does seem that there is cause for "cautious optimism" as they say on the telly. Probably best we stop bombarding him with advice for the moment as it doesn't actually make cohesive sense when you view it all from where he is at. I know, I'm the worst offender.

Hopefully it won't end in me jumping off a cliff but I have to say I came close to it today, I think half the problem is not knowing what to do for the best.

If it doesnt, I would pick the car up. They have said they can find nothing wrong, so if it gets worse they cant blame you for carrying on driving it.

I would email Andy

I would ring round for a dealer that wants to look at it and has a V8 demo that they can compare it to and take it to them.

Just a thought. They sound you are getting is not transmission whine/vibration coming through gear lever is it? Mine does this.. Reminds me of a Bedford truck I used to drive. It does it when stationary and pulling away in the lower gears.

How did you get on, hear anything? I'm still non the wiser this end, i'll just have to hope things are moving along, If i'm honest i'm starting to miss my car now, spent a fortune on getting the garage ready and going in there now and seeing it empty is like looking at an empty cage of a beloved pet that has passed away.
