Sure its comparable. The gtpp vs the gt350. I bought the Perfpack gt for the drive not the drag. Are you saying with a supercharger and suspension mods im not going to walk the gt350. Look at the 2014 mustang model year. No 2014 supercharged gt is beating a gt500 of same year. With the kinda money involved Ford could have took the voodoo to a higher level with force induction.
Wasn't impressed with the PP. Bouncy and unsettled with any application of decent power. Guess that's why I've replaced everything but the radiator and brakes. I can't imagine any situation where a PP stays even remotely close to a 350. 100 extra hp and much better suspension and tires. A 17 Camaro SS would be a better comparison.

I would have expected the SC Coyote to beat up the GT350 more than it did. That GT350 sounds nuts! FPC + 8000 PRM = Awesome.
It didnt because the gt spun a ton and he had to let out to find traction then get back in it. He lost some ground because of it. Watch it again.

The GT would have spanked the 350 even harder if all the power was put down. From what I see the 5.0 let out in 2nd to center up the car.
Thank god some else is observant. Its funny how all the people cry about the gt350 not being set up for drag. Guess what folks the gt drags like shit stock as well.

Thats a pretty stout mod list you have. I'm always curious how a modded to the hilt muscle car would hang with a super car. I did a SRT-4 once in a similar fashion and it had no problem running with 911 turbos of that erea.
I have a friend and neighbor with an impressive garage of vehicles. I've spent some time chasing his GTR, AMG GT, and Z06 (Z07) on curvy roads. After the latest round of changes I'm actually getting closer to the Z07 which is brutally fast on a curvy road. I'm not a Corvette guy but that thing basically goes as fast as you dare on a good road.

Yeah, he lost some traction in 2nd, but I didn't hear him lift much if at all. Tires spun for a bit then he hit 3rd gear. He was already ahead quite a bit by the time he hit 3rd gear.

Also, if you watch closely I didn't see a passenger in the SC GT - only saw the seat's head rest. Clearly the GT350 had a passenger.

His car was trying to go sideways. He had to let out some to find traction. Doesnt take much to lose a good amount of ground.

Also at 25-27 seconds youll see someone in the gt passenger seat. Its hard to notice. I had to check 4 times

With the power difference, the SC GT should have been pulling away the whole time after he hit 3rd gear ... especially as the air drag started really kicking in when you need big HP to keep a decent acceleration rate.

It also says the GT350 is 'tuned' ... so hard to say how much HP gain it has from a really good tune.

Giving up ground because of trying to find traction will ruin that and lessen an advantage. Its not like the gt is a 140+ trapping car. Its a 130mph trapping car vs a 120mph trapping car. Its not going to leave it like its in reverse. :D

In the video from 0:18 to 0:24 all I can see is the seat's head rest. The passenger side window is down, and I see nobody there at time 0:18. You can see the seat's head rest pretty good at time 0:21 - 0:23. If he has a passenger, they must be tiny and their helmet is well below the top of the head rest.

How hot will the S/C Mustang get making a run like that ?
It will get warm. The newer intercooler systems are improved though.

I think you've misunderstood what I'm saying here. I would think the gtpp with a supercharger, tune and upgraded wheels, suspension would would be a task for the stock gt350. Maybe I should put it this way. Can I throw $10-15,000 at my gtpp and be at or above the level of the gt350?

My bad. I would still say that's a minimum amount. I Think a stock PP suspension does alright at stock power levels, but it's really easy to overpower it. After adding power mine would basically oscillate when trying to apply power out of corners. Really unsettling. The 350 can use its power so on a tighter twisty track the PP driver better be good and ready to work. I'm not saying anyone needs to go out for a full blown Cortex system but a decent set of coilovers and some select pieces from BMR, Steeda, etc. really tighten the car up. I'm glad Ford finally went IRS, it's just if you want power and handling it needs lots of work and unfortunately some cash.
