Currently Ford is offering 0% financing for 72 months on 2015 models. Has anyone tried it yet? If yes, please share your experience

I can try but we need a car in the family. The dealer quoted me $35,500 on a $40,310 car. 2015 GT Premium with 401A and 50th Anniversary package.

I was looking at a used but with interest the monthly payment is coming out the same

Thats not a good deal unless you really want the 50th anniversary package. You can get 401a 2016's for less than that.

Does anybody have an idea on their approval rates? What credit score do they look for?

I had zero problems getting 0% financing with a 690 Auto FICO. Same for no money down loans as well. More so now with a 835.

Usually its got to be a 640-650 or better to qualify. If you put enough cash down sometime you can have a little bit lower score and still get it. Every financial arm is different on their approval criteria. They mainly look at payment history and debt to income.

You for sure must have good negotiating skills:)
I've never put money down either. I'm going to for the GT just because I want to start off in a better situation equity wise.

For me, it's very easy to walk away. They always call to do the deal. Strive for even a better deal even before walking back into the dealership.

I wonder if there's anything bad about a car that's been sitting for a year or more on a dealer lot?
