1/2 Mile fun last weekend

Took the car out over the weekend up in Shafter, California. Omegamotorsport put on the event. It was a blast out there. This is a short clip from 1st thru 5th gear. I had to go into 6th gear for a while. Time for some 3:31s lol....

Yeah I see we had the same times. It's not half bad considering the low boost. Would have went faster if we didn't have the 3:73s, had to go into 6th gear for a while. A set of 3:31s are now in the back.

FYI: Car now has Billet OPG & CG installed. After that weekend I decided not to gamble anymore. The stock clutch did a good job, but it's time for a upgrade.

I did mine too after plenty of 1/2 and 1/4 mile runs lol

Nice! Yeah they put on good events. I like that it's not to popular yet like TX2k or Shift Sector because you can run a bunch of times without a huge line. Have fun out there! Hope you can get some video.

Yeah man it's a complete gamble if it breaks or not. Sorry to hear about your engine. Cool thing is now you can upgrade. I'll hopefully be on this engine for another year until we build it.

They allow 100 cars per day here and both days are full. I'll definitely be taking some video! I have a buddy with a '14 Viper, so I'll likely line up with him at least once.
