Front Sidemarker Bulb Help!! Diode Dynamics LED bulb (not switchback bulb)

I ordered the front switchback bulbs from diode dynamics and having trouble getting the driver's side led bulb out. I've tried twisting counterclockwise but it won't budge :frusty: I gave up after my knuckles got bloody. Has anyone had this issue? Any resolutions?

I installed mine a couple of weeks ago and didn't have any issues. I will say that the connectors were very snug from factory. Just a 1/4 turn counter clockwise and then simply ease the plug straight back. There are teeth on the plugs that you must line up with the housing to remove the plug/light.

One other tip: once you get those factory bulbs out and are placing the DD LED's in make sure you press them FIRMLY into place. The new LED's are a very tight fit and if you don't get them seated properly you may end up with a bulb falling down in the housing which from what others have said is a PITA to get back out. I haven't had any issues with mine at all...

Yes. Same problem. These little buggers are a PITA to get out. Bloody knuckles and lots of grunts before it budges. The right rear side marker will NOT budge. Fords must have glued it in.

I didn't have trouble getting them out...I had trouble turning them back in to hear the "click". maybe i need to hit the weights??? lol

The weird thing is I somehow put the old diode dynamics bulbs in a while back. I am replacing with new ones because they are flickering. I guess I'll try using a wrench or something.

Weird. Try pushing in then turning counterclockwise.

Had this same flickering, I switched to some Sylvania's off Amazon and they are way better. I purchased numerous stuff from DD and had to RMA about everything...awesome customer service but products have been disappointing.
