Today was the day I picked up my 2016 Competition Orange GT350 #653. I had to wake up at 5:30 to catch a flight to Munich. I haven´t been this happy in the morning since a very loooong time
I went into the dealership to pick her up and when I saw her in the showroom I just wanted to get onto the Autobahn. When all the dealer stuff was done I got the keys and was on my way. From Munich it was a 400 Mile drive home. Sadly the Autobahn was clogged so I was only able to achieve 100 mph for a brief moment. But when I did hit the accelerator I couldn't stop smiling the noise the voodoo makes is insane and in my opinion there enough torque. I expected the ride to be hard and painful(Recaros) but it was so easy. The MagneRide system absorbed a lot of bumbs and the Recaros weren't as bad as I thought. It cruises incredibly well at 75-80 Mph. I completely fell in love with this car. Ford really knocked it out of the park with this one. The only mod I'll do for now are Tredwear letters, because I don´t want to risk hurting the engine.
