Less tape stripe on Ford Order Tracking

Looking at my order on the website I noticed "Less tape stripe" as an exterior option. I ordered OTT Stripes on my GT350R order, I contacted the dealership to follow up and make sure the stripes will be included and factory installed.

Can anyone tell me what this means? Did anyone that ordered a GT350 or R with strips noticed the same?

window sticker hasn't been generated - I received the VIN number on Friday and decided to check the order on http://wwwqa.cotus.ford.com/ The order has a 5/16 production build therefore if there is a order mistaken then they should be able to correct the order ASAP.

I am waiting for a call from the Dealer to confirm

My COTUS page shows no stripe but my window sticker has one, and I did order a stripe. I would not be too worried.

Thanks Lindsay for the info, just want to make sure the order is correct and I will not be surprised when I pick up the car. Its been a long 7 months and want the process to go as smoothly as possible :-)

COTUS is notorious for being inaccurate. It still shows that the car I've had in my garage for three weeks as being "In Production." Call Ford Performance with your VIN to see if they can help: 800-367-3788, Option 1.

Build date is Apr 7 (underway now) and that screen also shows mine incorrect, says no stripe (I did order the OTT). I got my WS from the other Ford website, which is correct (ie with OTT).

I tried pulling up my WS from that same site (there is a button to do so), but it would never come up. My sales guys says if the main WS is right, the build will be right. FWIW :cheers:

The information you saw was only the mechanical side from the information that I received. In a couple of days the window sticker will be available with all the information on it.....

I really wish I knew How you guys get the COTUS site to work!!!!!!!!!
I got a build date of May 16th a vin of # 5304 will someone else try it..... Arg lol driving me crazy that it works for everyone else

COTUS just started working for me within the last 2-3 days. I have a build date of the week of 5/9 and my VIN is 5857.

If the same including the "check digit" then I couldn't get your's to come up. Mine does show currently.

FWIW...my ETIS showed the same description of "tape stripe delete" but it was all ok when it arrived stripes and all...
