Wow that looks good. Nice mate. Now I need to try and see if I can get a second coat included for not much more than my original quote.. And I'm not sure if my price includes paint protection.. Hard when there is only 1 opti cost dealer up here.

Last night I finally set some time aside to do one of my most anticipated mods, the GT350 steering wheel.

It took me about 1 hour 20 minutes, but I like to make sure everything is perfect and I didn't want to rush and end up pinching the suede.

My thoughts: The steering wheel is the most important part about the car and this mod is a massive improvement over stock, I love how it looks and feels.

Tools Required 3/8" drive Torque wrench 47.4nm required, 15/16mm 3/8" drive socket, socket extension tool, T20 screwdriver, 3mm hex key & small flat head screwdriver

Battery removal: 1/2" drive wrench, 10mm socket

Tips and tricks: the right had side airbag was easy to pop out but the left hand side was a little harder and I couldn't use my hex key so I used a small flat head screwdriver instead.

Looks the goods!

Whilst, I'd like to do the GT350 wheel, I don't mind the stock one that much.
Maybe one day, particularly if I end up going with the GT350 rear valance.

So yesterday was a big mod day for me, I planned to get one thing done, I ended up getting three things done.

First up were changing over the yellow coloured halogen bulbs to led's from Blingwork auto, the car looks so much better now and I am happy that all the lights actually match

I think this is a massive improvement over stock, I also got the indicators changed to led's and a resistor added so the blink at the same time as the mirror lights

Nice work mate. How hard was it to swap the lights over? I still haven't found a video anywhere showing what is actually involved. Do you just reach under and behind to get to then? Also which LEDs and resistors did you buy for the indicators? Wouldn't mind seeing a video of what they look like now compared to the standard indicators, see if it is worthwhile as well.

Now for a big change, after working with Paul from Need4SpeedMotors For a while I finally found the rims I wanted and he was able to do a a great deal for me.

The rims are MRR M350 mounted on Michelin Pilot Supersports 275/35/19 and 295/35/19, one thing I have to say is that trying to source tyres is an absolute pain as often we don't have the same tyre size as in the states.

Delivery
They were packaged well with lug nuts and left Glendale California on Monday and were in my hands on Friday. Which makes me laugh because sending a package to Sydney takes longer.

I had it installed by Blingwork, they only charged $50 labour and had two guys working at it for over an hour so it was a pretty good deal. Especially considering that I don't think I could have fit my hand in behind the foot well. These guys were great to deal with and very professional

I went with Phillips led and resistors, it might be best to give them an email to ask them which specific ones.
