Spotted a Ruby Red 5.0 on the westbound 91 Freeway carpool lane near Green River in Corona this morning..

Did it have a black Foose hoodscoop?

On my way north to San Francisco today where Kern County meets Kings County I saw a Shelby, white with blue stripes, going south. Also saw a few more S550s going south, 2 of them verts. Then I saw one of those trailers with a whole lot of spankin new ones...top ones were red, white and blue.
Did not spot any going in my direction...just a couple Camaros and Challengers.

Throughout the day yesterday on my way home from SF I spotted almost a dozen S550s total heading north on 5. No GT350's this time. (The only Mustang I encountered going in my direction was in Eugene, OR, a twin of my car. OR doesn't count.)
Interestingly I spotted a convoy of Challengers heading north through the Castaic area. Looked nice, but not as nice as ours ;)

Spotted a black GTCS this morning driving behind me on the 10 east around Arlington/110 interchange area. Montebello Ford dealer plates and all. Congrats on your purchase brother - welcome to the family.

The black and yellow license plates really pop! If you have a personalized plain white one, I highly suggest looking into upgrading it.

I went to the website to try to figure out how to switch from mine to the black one, but I'm too dumb I guess...:frusty:

Just google ca 1970 legacy plates and it should come up

I know how to find the plates, but I already have personalized plates, and didn't see anything anywhere to transfer between them. I can't reorder the same plate and then turn these in

You can, I did. It is considered a Conversion and there is a DMV form for it.
If you have AAA, get it all done at one of their offices with very little wait. Costs $50.
Still have to wait 12 weeks for the stinkin plates to arrive, tho. :headbonk:
