I did 133.89 with 610/500 on the dyno before my new pulley so it doesn't add up either to me

He still should be trapping 140+ with those numbers. You get a higher trap if you spin a lot at the start since the speeds are averaged. You get a lower trap if you hook perfectly and weren't spinning through the 60'.

I feel the need to step up my game but e85 makes more sense for my needs is it possible to run a 3.25 and still be safe and low 10s? I love my Wipple!

Only if using race gas otherwise no you shouldn't go smaller than 3.626"

Errrr, not really trap speed is not average. Trap speed the the speed he was doing when he hits the end.
The reason you get a lower trap speed with lower ET is how the power is put down. Just because one car have faster trap speed doesn't mean the ET will proportionally lower.
For example, you stall after moving off the start line and takes 2 seconds to restart, your ET will be 2 seconds longer than the runs you didn't, does your trap speed get significantly lower? No.
Say your car can't grip, so the you are spinning tons before hooking even tho it can accelerate faster than the slower trap speed car, but your acceleration does not start until you hook.

Right and either way...the car should be trapping much higher. Missing a gear effects MPH since you have already gotten a good ET by the 660' marker (auto doesn't have that issue unless the tune is bugged).

A 10 second car running 140 mph
A 9 second car running 140 mph

9 second car has better suspension/gearing but the same power to weight.

Some tracks DO average the speed between the 8th and the 1/4 mile with a calculation (one of my local tracks used to do this).

So with that being said an 800rwhp 2015 5.0 should run faster than 10.1-10.3 @ 135-137 mph

My 600rwhp 500rwtq 2015 automatic ran 10.5 @ 133 and 10.6 @ 134 with 200 less RWHP and a less than stellar torque curve. Something is off here.

Mph is an indicator of HP, at 4000lb race weight he should be trapping 145+ with 800rwhp, 137 trap is upper 6xx rwhp. That's all I'm saying.

I would suggest testing your car before using someone else's tire size. What point are you hitting 4th at the track? If you are hitting it near the traps tell me your tire size and I can help. if you're hitting it far out from the traps that's good and I suggest you keeping that tire. What are your 60' and 8th mile times?

MPH is the same no matter if you booger the start (within 1-3mph with other variables)

MPH is mainly messed up if you miss a gear or the car loses power on the big end.
