I had talked to him about how I wanted it handled previously. So that explains some of it. But when I called him back after getting the email he told me that he's been selling Fords for a long time and he hardly notices the cars that come through anymore. But as soon as he saw the GT350 he knew it was a very special car. He told everyone the car was NOT to be driven! He's a "car guy" and gets how special this car is. I've also told him that this is the very first car I've ever ordered new and he understands how special that is to me.

Now as long as they don't try to screw me on my trade we'll be good to go!

I was going to ask this also. Did you specifically tell him/them that you did not authorize anyone to drive it but for transport on/off the trailer??

I can only imagine what it's like getting that email

I did not specifically ask that no one drive it. He was intuitive enough on his own to know. It is a tiny dealer, Klement Ford in Muenster Texas. John Yost was my salesman and I couldn't be happier with the service.

Thanks! These are the other 2 in my collection. Unfortunately the green Mach 1 is up for sale. It is a J code 429 Super Cobra Jet with Ram Air. It was an original 4 speed car but now has a Tremec 5 speed (original transmission will come with the car, needs rebuilt). I've done a lot to it and it is an absolute blast to drive. Not a trailer queen though it is beautiful. I only own cars I can drive.

The convertible does things to my "Car Guy" soul that no other car ever has though.

I do not have accurate numbers. The previous owner of the Boss had it installed. But it is MUCH lighter and I really believe I can feel the difference on turn-in.
