Just wondering in any of the USA Members have looked at seeing if there is a Dashmat that is available for the top of the Dashboard so it keeps the Dashboard like new. They are very popular for cars out here in Australia with the strength of our sun coming in the windscreen and heating up the top of dashboard.

yes it is. i have one on my car. have been using dashmat on my cars since 2001. i even have them on my daily drivers also! i do not keep them permanently on the mustangs since they sit in a garage most of the time but on the others they are there 24-7.
they keep the dash nice and prevents fading. you will have to clean the dashmat and under occasionally due to normal dust and dirt collecting.
hope this helps

I saw every single car in Taiwan has them, however I personally think they make the interior look absolutely horrible. Sun shade that you put out when you park car in the sun makes sense. Having this all the time - not really...

Front windshield tint - even its only 50% would look better than a dashmat

Agreed. It's usually in the garage but when it's parked outside I just use a quality sunshade. I have sunshades for all of my vehicles.

DashMat has a new type of material that looks like suede (looks wayyyyy better than the old carpet versions), I have one on each of my vehicles (South Florida sun...)
before i ordered mine, I called them and they sent me out 4 color samples of the suede like material for free:D

And illegal pretty much everywhere. Not worth it if it's Illegal in Australia (probably is) because they have yearly car inspections for registration (source: coworker in Sydney)

If you find a mat in the US that won't ship to Australia, and you can wait a few months, let me know. I can get it for you, I'll be in Sydney the first two weeks of November and can bring it in my luggage and post it to you locally.
