Damn sweet, I really wanted the Ford extended warranty but it wasn't available and thought it would never be. I guess not getting the car early has a couple upsides

I got premium care 7yrs or 48k miles (if I recall correct..have to dig up the paperwork). Basically added 4 yrs and 12k miles to base warranty plus all the benefits of premium care. My car won't hit 48k miles for long after 7yrs.

How much did that cost you?

I also bought the Ford Premium Maintenance. 5 year 36k miles for 1500. That should more than pay for itself.

Powertain warranty is 5yr/60k. Is $1500 for two extra years of coverage mainly for electronics really worth it?

How are these dealers getting these plans to go through?

I tried to purchase through my dealer, through the Ford Protect website, and by calling Ford Protect customer service, with each try being unsuccessful.

Both my dealer and Ford Protect customer service told me the GT350's are not eligible for ESP or PMP.

As mentioned above they were not previously available but are now showing. Also I screenshot the only options listed online so for those of you mentioning other terms/mileages check your paperwork - I'm not sure those exist.

Edit: realized i put premium care in my post. i mean the premium maintenance plan. There was no extended warranty available when I bought my car.

It's not a warranty. It's the premium service plan which covers all the routine services for 5 years. Plus, they replace these wear and tear items as needed:
spark plugs
shocks
clutch disc
engine belts and hoses
brake pads and linings
wiper blades

I just bought a premium care warranty from Flood Ford, $635. 8 years or 36,000, $0 deductible. Waiting on the official approval.

Not sure but that sounds like a no brainer price. I don't plan(or rather, not able to drive due to work) to drive more than 5k miles a year, so something around 40k/8yrs.

Yeah, I will never see more than 4,500 miles per year. I have been eyeing this plan since I bought the car. I only held off when others said the Shelby wasn't eligible. Seeing this price reminds me of how badly I was screwed on extended warranties years ago lol.
