My iissue with black wheels

I'm 33, and I totally hate the black wheels thing myself. So count me in with the old people.

I appreciate that others like the full "blackout" look, but I don't get that either.
Black car, check.
Black wheels, check.
Black emblems, check.
Tinted windows, check.
Tinted lights, check.

Only another Mustang fan of the blackout look can also appreciate such a car. The casual non-fans may hardly notice it. Especially when they crash into your car on a moon-less night. :doh:

That is true with black it is hard to appreciate the design of the wheels than it would be with another finish. Great looking car :cheers:

I like the black OEM wheels better
They match the trim allowing for a better aesthetic flow of the car IMO.

All tires 275/35/20 Mickey Thompson's. Wheels are 20x10 all around with 1.25" spacers on front

Semi gloss black helps to help the issue, but gunmetal def does open up the wheel so you see the design.

There are lots

of us out here who wouldn't buy black wheels. My main reason is I want a style that will set my car apart from others. I'll spend extra to get a design that isn't common in my area. Getting that wheel in black negates the effort and money spent in selecting a nice design. As someone already mentioned, when you get 20 feet away you can't discern the wheel design and it also blends with the tire into a black mass with a brake rotor behind it.

Don't need chrome but wheels should be visible to justify spending money on a particular design IMHO.

I agree OP!! My EB PP with the black wheels just didn't do anything for me. Went with gunmetal also.

For the guys lucky enough to have a gt350r yes but the more common "s" like mine are not.
