Racing Stripes

In order to make my stang go at least twice as fast as stock, I'm really keen to get a set of twin 10" silver/ grey / metallic OTT racing stripes. I know ford can help me out for $600 odd but is anyone else getting them?
If so, who's doing them in what colour? One of the US members owns this car and I like the look with the magnetic.

I (supposedly) have black fading stripes coming on my DIB.

Haven't seen that combination before - hopefully they look OK (would have preferred a non-fading option from the factory).

If I go stripes, ill be getting solid stripes, in either a kit from Bigworm graphics or somewhere local.

On race red, id go either black or white stripes..... given I want black wheels, its more than likely id go black stripes to go with all the blacked out badges etc.

With silver wheels and the stock badges, white stripes would look killer.

On magnetic, anything in the white - silver - grey - black shades would look good in my opinion.

I have seen a picture of a magnetic with black stripes and lighter... silver/grey pinstripes, I thought it looked really nice.

For example.... its a GT350 but the effect is there.

I'm not a fan of the faded stripes on the race red, they look like an elastic band on a hemorrhoid. I've not been as wrapped with the black stripes on the magnetic but they doo look the goods with the silver pin stripe.

Everyone is different as are their tastes, its the individuals choice.
But in saying that, I think Ford droped the ball with the fading stripes. When I see them I think the stripes have started to fade......and they need to continue over both bars.

Do a google search for vinyl stripes.

Sydney sideers have these people, dont know anything about them, but will contact when mine is closer to being built.

I ordered my magnetic GT with the factory black stripes.
Personally I hate the faded stripes that it comes with and have just taken delivery of the 10" solid stripe kit from CJ Pony Parts.
I'll be ripping off the factory stripes and laying down my new stripes when I take delivery of the car in the coming weeks.

I was lucky to be able to cancel the factory faded stripes on my order before it was too late.
I'm not into faded stripes as well.

Lucky you mate, I got stuck with them.
Dealer said I couldn't change anything on the order. $600 down the drain but i'll just cop it on the chin.

My fiance bought me Mustang parts for my bday and they got delivered the other day, thankfully the new stripes were part of my present.
