Alright had em installed today. They do drone A LOT. However it doesn't bother me much. They are loud ... I mean LOUD! They vibrate the car loud lol. I think they sound real good during city driving and just overall sound. Very deep and loud. Highway is drone prone so would not recommend unless you can handle it.

For $325 parts and install it's good enough for me for now. In fact it's so loud I worry about being pulled over now lol.

I took a video but it sucks so I will have to update with one later.

I messed up. I messed up bad lol.

I live in an APT complex where all the buildings are arranged in a U with the buildings situated outside the U facing toward the center of the U. Luckily bedrooms are on the outside part of the buildings.

Anyway I explained this because I did remote start this morning from my living room which is closer to the inside of the U (where cars are parked, and exhaust was facing my bldg) and it fucking ROARED lol. Luckily that loudest part only lasted a few seconds. Could still hear it pretty good in living room. Not too loud from the bedroom but could hear it with bedroom door opened.

I leave for work at 630am which I don't think is too early or really early. But still kinda nervous neighbors will be pissed. Also funny enough the street out is on the opposite side where the bedrooms face. But I think I can manage the throttle enough.

Long story short fuuuuuuuu it's loud. I do like the sound though is S mode with higher shift points. In D it's a little droney. During WOT the car shakes and it sounds like the whole exhaust it rattling somewhere. But it was welded in except flat the cats connection. Not too badly.

Overall I rate it about Low B maybe a high C in terms of overal happiness. For the mufflers being 75 a piece and having reused the stock tips I think it turned out well enough. Also these are marketed as being race/off-road mufflers lol

Yeah I will once I can. Started the car this morning about 0630 and immediately put it into R. Seemed to work pretty well but still loud. Probably going to switch over to roush axle backs asap.

Yeah I read that and was wondering if that could be it. And if it is then im going to have to get a whole new catback and the X pipe is now welded on the end going towards the rear end. But it doesnt sound like an exhaust leak.

And im not exactly sure what that photos is of, because I dont have a spot that looks like that on my x pipe.

Just start it up again and crawl underneath when it's cold and run your hand around the X-pipe feeling for leaks. A sawzall and a muffler shop could always change it out for something else if need be.

On my old '02 GT I had a Bassani O/R X-pipe and Flowmasters. It sounded terrible - like somebody shaking a can of pennies under the car at certain rpms. I swapped out the Flowies for Magnaflow and sound perfection was achieved. There was just something about the x-pipe not liking those mufflers - an H-pipe would have sounded okay though.

Nice! Doesn't seem like its overly loud judging from the video. Sounds like you may have to re-check the welds/clamp tightness if its vibrating that much.

I guess I overstated the vibration. But I will check it out when I put it up on a lift when I go to install my steeda subframe brace. And the video doesnt pickup the volume lol.

Videos never do, unfortunately. Something we know all too well, and the reason we always recommend hearing an exhaust in person before purchasing.

We hope you can get the rattle sorted!

Thanks. Might be looking at changing it out for a corsa system even though I think they are overpriced as hell.

Sorry it didn't turn out like you hoped. I was worried that was gonna happen, but hey sometimes you just got to try something different.
