Wow, what a fantastic thread Bossing. Perfect for a Sunday morning. I especially appreciated the comparisons to the C7 as I am coming from one. Thanks for doing this.

Check your fuse box's power & battery connections! One of mine was loose. I had the symptom of zero power. I figured all that V & H from the high revving FPC caused one of the power connector nuts (see pic below) to loosen up... I was able to freely turn it with my fingers. :eyebulge:

After tapping on it the power went back on... so I then tightened it up, drove spiritedly ;) and all good again. I tightened the other two 10mm nuts as well. While you're at it, check to ensure all the fuses are seated in snugly.

The loosened nut was the top one of the three 10mm nuts on the right side under the fuse box:

I noticed the samething after my dyno pulls. Almost all fuses were loose.

I guess Ford is going to have to start dabbing Loctite on all the fuses in the manufacturing process. :D

Since the hot & sensitive topic is limp mode due to lack of cooling., which one here is most likely to experience the same? :D

So don't feel bad.... that one has all the coolers but apparently not robust enough. ;) :headbonk:

It's funny - one of the reasons I bought the GT350 over the C7 Z51 was because it sounded like it was better engineered for track duty: Better brakes, better cooling, etc. It was unfortunate that Ford didn't put the cooling systems in all of the cars initially, but will now be having them standard on the 2017 model. Maybe they did learn from GM's Z06 issues, but just a bit too late for those with 2015 and 2016 GT350 base and tech pack cars.

Hey Bossing, just a quick question. Now that you've driven this quite a while, do you find the Recaros comfortable for long distances/all day driving as long as you fit in them well?
