I am highly considering doing this myself. I have done FULL suspension installs in this garage with 3 different vehicles. So I figure Headers would not be so difficult. Install will be in a apartment large so not so easy but I am a individual that will and can overcome tight spaces. Any help with the header bolts will be MUCH appreciated.

I've done headers twice on my car. Passenger side will be frustrating. Very front stud is easiest from the top when you jack the motor up. From underneath it's a pain. Stubby wrenches(preferably ratcheting), ratcheting wrenches with swivel heads and a 3/8" swivel adapter and some extensions will help too. Overall it's not too bad. Driver side should be quick, nothing really too crazy there. Shouldn't be too much of an issue man. Just bring your patience.

How were the bottom 4 on passenger side? And would this be the time to replace motor mounts?

once you get the starter, motor mount bracket and mount out, you have a clear path to the bottom bolts. The very front one on the bottom is that one I told you about that's easier to get from the top after jacking the motor up. If I'm not mistaken. It's been a few weeks since I did it last. I wouldn't replace the motor mounts unless you really need to for something. They're not too hard to replace in my opinion. The motor mount Bolts are pretty easily accessible from the top

So are you saying take out the starter and motor mount?

Yes. Passenger side you'll need all the room you can get, so those will need to come out. Driver side you can leave the motor mount in. But the motor mount bracket obviously needs to come off. And the steering shaft needs to be disconnected too for the driver side.

I was able to leave the mount in on both sides but the bracket and starter needs to come out.

Tip...you can lower and raise the motor slightly to help with tight spots. While you are under there you should trim the AC bolt. Some have had issues with contact and false knock...me included :(

First time no power tools and on your back, I would say 8 solid hours. Just because it can be one tick at a time to remove and replace exhaust bolts.

Electric will help with the lower bolts as long as you have a good impact. When it comes to the tight stuff a swivel ratcheting wrench set is a must!! 13/15 for sure for the head studs. The others will be a mix of extensions and sockets. Oh get a few wobble extensions. Those helped too.

Not sure where you are in DFW but I'm in McKinney so if you need some help just PM me. If I'm in town I might be able to swing by and help out.

Took me a solid 20 hours. Never done anything like this before, and I have big hands so some bolts were very, very difficult for me. My advice is some think gloves, I cut my hands up pretty bad.

After getting the car in the air and the factory exhaust off, 6 hours on passenger side, 3 hours on drivers side. Only place I used an electric impact driver, was to run the studs on the head in and out a few times to clean out the threads. I wasn't sure how tight the header bolts needed to be, I tightened the crud out of them. Glad I didn't twist off any bolts or strip any threads.
