I really hope Livernois continues to work on the FF tune. It was one of the main reasons I went with them in the first place. It's slightly disappointing to see Lund release a tune that is similar and seems to be doing great with most applications when it was nearly promised that FF tuning was going to be Exclusive to Livernois.

But I'll continue to hold out with Livernois, I am sure they will come through and deliver an excellent FF tune.
My buddy has been waiting on the ff tune from livernois for over 2 months he even dropped off his car to them for a few days...I don't know much about tuning but If I dropped my car off at a shop and they didn't finish the work and I was still waiting weeks later I would be taking my business somewhere else

So based on other comments in this thread it sounds like Livernois decided to temporarily put the FF tunes on hold because of drivability and starting issues.

On post #246 Livernois said there were "rapidly releasing an update" when I asked if there were issues after a member posted he was waiting for over a month for his tune. Livernois never mentioned any issues, we had to hear from other members about them.

Hopefully Livernois gets it squared away soon for all their customers wanting the FF tune.

I was running the livernois ff tune for a few weeks and the car ran great it felt much stronger and smoother then the 93 tune but it had a issue with not wanting to start after the car was warmed up..I went to the shop and they had their tune guy sit in my car with me for awhile messing with it and didn't get it figured out so I ran it for a couple weeks with the starting problem at warm temps and then after a few weeks I never heard back from them with any updates so I called and they asked me to drop the car off to have the tune fixed so I did and left it there for 2 days and had to have the car back to go to work so I picked it up and they had switched the tune back to the newest 93 tune and told me I would have the ff tune asap and that was January 13th..on January 21st I called to check and still nothing..January 29th I called again and didn't hear back till February 1st and was told the wrong tune had been sent and the ff still wasn't done but I would have it that day or the next day and never got it so I called back on February 3rd and was told it still wasn't done and they didn't know when it would be done..for anyone wondering about the tune it was great it felt like a different car except starting at warm temps and I really want it back I hope they get it together soon cause going from E85 tune to 93 tune sucks even if the power isn't a big difference the way the car drives is totally different

Wow, that sucks! I can see having issues and working through them and it taking some time, but it seems you have given them ample time and even gave them your car for a few days to sort it out. I never liked the fact you can't log with their tuning device, I mean you are local but how are they suppose to work through issues if you weren't local? Apparently they couldn't fix the issue and they had possession of your car, so thats not good. From some of the comments from other members it sounded like it's not a priority to them because of their current workload.

How bad was the warm temp starting issues? E85 will take extra cranks to start usually but it's not a big deal. I'm guessing it had to be pretty bad. Did the issue start right away after loading the FF tune?

Well I hope they get it sorted out for you and others wanting their FF tune!

Others should want it when it's figured out cause it was awesome...when warmed up it would start only if I held the gas to the floor and it would crank a good full 5 seconds before starting and if I didn't hold the gas it wouldn't start at all and yes the problem happened from the first time I started it after filling with E85 and switching to the ff tune...it would start right up when cold...that tune was for a stock car and they were really cool about offering to remove the insert in my intake for having the starting problem and they did remove it when they had my car for the 2 days...I am not trying to bash on them I totally understand how busy they are cause they walked me through the garage and it was jam packed full of really nice cars

It sounds like the tune kicks ass other than the starting issue. I really hope a revised tune is made available soon.

Absolutely. I'd much rather have a spot on tune and be worry free. I am just excited to get it on the car (even if it is in hibernation).

Rather than going back and forth on this, we'll just stick to the basics. Yes, there was a starting issue with your specific strategy, Stang. It wasn't limited to just when the car warmed up either. We wanted to do what we could for you, as all clients. This is why we asked him to swing it by, first for a quick visit to see if it was something simple. Then after, (when we determined it wasn't going to be a quick fix) for an extended session. Unfortunately, we needed it for around 4-5 days to make certain everything was sorted, but there were some changes in his plans (not to do with us or our company) that required it being picked up early. Because of this, we have had to work on it in a different fashion than we had hoped, but we have still worked on getting it situated for you, and others with the same strategy and set up. Now, we have everything close to done. And, we likely will be able to get you (and clients w/ shared strategies) something soon. We do however want to be perfectly clear that we are doing, and did do everything we could to get this situated as quickly as possible. We believe that with those extra 3 or so days’ time this would have long been taken care of. But we have still continued to work on the solution even without the requested time. So while it might feel like we aren't taking care of it, the inverse is actually true. We are spending even more time this go around to ensure its right, which I think in the long run, is exactly what everyone really wants in the end.

offer him a loaner car for the time being maybe? or just pay for a rental car. If it allows you guys to complete a working FF tune it would be worth it. especially if it is as great as he says it was. Not many people will just allow you to fiddle and use their car as a test car I would do everything in my power to take the opportunity.
