Paul was going to do the install himself, but just hadn't had time, so we scheduled him in and he brought his car up from KY for a

2200 Install
ID 1000s
BAP
3.6 Pulley
JLT CAI

car already had lts on it

After Brian and the guys at Finish Line knocked out the install. We through it on our dyno for a custom Lund Remote Tune.

With a nice 93 tune on it she knocked down 659/533.

Paul doesn't post on the forums, but shot me a text after his trip home!

Quick little youtube vid on our dyno

How does it make 400 TQ under 3k? I thought centi's were not even making much boost at all down that low? Amazing numbers!

That's awesome! I'm definitely looking forward to ordering this set-up in the near future. Probably early March...

they don't make alot of boost down low, it's linear, but they compliment these cars so nice.

centris are a very efficient power adder

You heard wrong about centri it sounds like.
My impressions were from experience, owning 2 centi's on Fox Mustang then 3 PD blowers after. Typically on a push rod motor the centi's didn't spin up and make boost or any real power until 4K. The difference may be with these new coyote motors. I just didn't see it possible to make that kind of torque without significant boost present.

Gotcha. It will depend on the efficiency of the motor of how well a centri will do. But centri has been doing this on the coyote since the kits came out for the s197 coyotes . If i recall correctly the 11-14s had 400 by 3k instead of below like the s550, unless it was a 302 boss. I figured youd have heard this by now.

No truthfully, I've been immersed in the PR motor for years and really didn't know much about the new motor aside from that they are a great platform to build off and make great power. I'm learning and loving this new design in every way. Im really excited to see how much power returns are had by all of the forced induction kits offered for this car.

Those curves look really nice. I can only imagine what they would look like with the GT350 intake manifold. It would pull hard past 6500 rpms. So far I am really impressed with all the blower and turbo kits for the S550. The coyote is a beast and loves boost. It's making me want to buy a GT, throw some boost on it, and ditch my dreams of owning a GT350.
