Pulled the trigger on GT350 Replica Rear Spoiler

Well....not the entire incredible car but at least the replica R Wing.... Put in an order at HCM for about 395.00 shipped with ebay discount . I love the look of this wing. I have installed the CDC outlaw wing last year but I think the GT350 is a standout. Now the tough decision: what color to paint?

I have seen pics of the real GT350 R but none in person. I need some opinions as I am on the fence.

1. The original appears to be flat or stain black... I want some shine
2. My 2015 is deep impact blue How would it look painted to match?
3. Matte black or primer black are other options?

I may want to do black lemans stripes as well with red silver or gray trim/red on the outside trim ...but after my body shop finishes it. He could paint stripes...

Any comments or suggestions are appreciated. Also if someone could post pics of a DIB with the GT350 wing painted the same color I would love that.

IMO body color would look terrible. I would go with gloss or satin/matte black. Since it will come black prepped for paint, that should give you a good idea how black would look.

I originally had no spoiler on the base PP GT.my body guy installed my CDC wing sohe drilled new holes.I guess he will have to fill them. A new or used base model trunk lid was an option but then that would mean additional paint.

Thanks for your opinions... answered my own questions.. matte black it will be ... Shelby GT350R is an inspiration. In my opinion next mod will be GT350 like seats. Not completley sold on the shifter knob yet.

Now that I look at it that black roof is catching my eye as well...:coolphotos:

I will also have a cdc spoiler available, it's got vynil wrap which I will clean, so not painted, was on my car only few months, it's for local pickup not shipping it, I'm in San Gabriel Ca, if interested please pm. Also hemistar let me know when you sell yours first don't want to ruin your sale since this is your thread, I can sell mine afterwards.

I know what you mean. Wish I could rock both. But torn between " bigger is better" The CDC was right on time last year but that GT350 was just a calling ...now I will add window scoops and side scoops and a ram air hood.
