So everyone is talking about Wastegates and boost levels. Is it possible to adjust or replace the stock on without a tune. I'm looking at a tune in the future but not now. I have the MAP CAI and Muffler delete. I've check and read all the TS IWG data sheets but requiring a tune was not mentioned.

Please go easy on me, I've had trucks and SUV's not turbo cars..

Thank you :hail:
Yes tune is required.

You will probably need a tune. I got one of the last batch from Adam at TUNE+ and it does change the personality of the boost curve. Smoother boost delivery, longer max pressure and less jumpy during part throttle acceleration. Adam's came with his own tweaks so the only thing you had to do was preload it a couple of millimeters, no spring swapping or anything. I would wait a few months until he gets another custom batch to sell from Turbosmart and then get it tuned. Cool little mod.

The 7 psi unit does not require a tune but you can maximize the results if you do tune.

10 psi and up do require tuning (you can order them with whatever spring suites your needs up to 45psi -:eyebulge:)
