My christmas presents, a £300 Mustang leather jacket and an £18 mustang cap, both finally arrived.

The cap is okay, logo on the front is a bit hazy and the cap is very shallow, but the jacket is being returned ASAP.

Despite being advertised as full leather its leather sleeves only, the rest of the body is neoprene. The Mustang logo that is supposed to be embossed on the back is just poor. I have to shine a spotlight directly on it, and even then its not very clear. There is no-way in hell this jacket is worth £300, it doesn't even fit properly and the zippers are god awful. You're supposed to be able to turn up the sleeves, too, but I wouldn't want too because its just raw edging inside. I have £20 jackets from Primark that feel, look and fit better.

So if anyone was looking at the clothing on the Euro Ford life-style shop, don't. Just buy a $60 ebay hoodie from the USA instead.

The upside is that I now have £300 extra deposit toward my pony when it finally arrives.

That is poor. Thanks for the heads-up though.

I'd be as equally frustrated, on a separate note, them kind of jackets never 'fit' second you pull your arm up you just get left with bare forearm - welcome the the fashion industry .

The jacket doesn't look any better than a £50 or so quid one, and that's only down to there being 'real leather' on it.

This jacket would look really nice if it was fully leather at least.

Doesn't fit as in I couldn't pull it together to zip it up. I wear a medium, ordered a medium, measurements matched my other jackets, and in reality its TINY despite the badge saying medium.
I originally thought it was brown leather, and it would've looked amazing if it was. The embossing would've worked far better on leather, too.

This is probably a blessing. I've got a few mustang t-shirts, but when I actually got the vehicle itself, I suddenly felt I'd look a bit of a cock (even more than usual) emerging from the car wearing one of them. A baseball cap would certainly seal the deal and I'd be the Bono of the supermarket car park.

Clothing on its own exudes an acknowledgement of an iconic car. But can so easily turn into a 'look at me, I've got a mustang' when you actually have the car.

 well said! Agree that jacket is piss poor, can't believe they can charge 300 for it. Easy on the clothing I say - let the car do the talking...subtlety is key chaps :)

This explains my thoughts exactly, i've got two Tshirts, one that's somewhat custom, another that's a much older ford racing shirt, I class them as my 'lounge shirts' (aka for lazy days), I don't really wear them out of the house because they're comfy clothes (And i spend my life in a suit anyway).
Would I wear them when I got the car? Erm, probably, will I when driving it? probably not. As you said, 'Look at me ive got a mustang', which looks super dbaggy to some...

Damn!! Does this mean that the Stetson, cowboy boots and full denim outfit I've ordered will not be cool?

That's the look I'm going for when I pop down to Aldi's for my Budweiser and Bagels  I'm going for the White Trash Scottish/American look :p
