I'm planning on getting a Magnaflow Competition, Panel Filter (not convinced by CAIs), that's all I have for power upgrades, what other mods could I do whilst staying Naturally Aspirated without breaking my bank

As your on a UK car in theory a LUND tune will give your car even more than a US car as you have more to gain as UK/EU cars had a stricter ECU tune for even lower emissions. ;)

Make sure you dyno without tune, put tune on and re-run dyno same day, I suspect you will get around 425BHP crank and with tune around 450-460BHP crank so good gains.

Next step is 350 intake manifold and throttle body, which should be good for around 480BHP. :)

RHD car, and with a Catback noise will already get me in trouble often, I couldn't do a cat delete, or anything else that increases noise, the U.K. Police are REALLY strict

I have pypes headers with catted factory connect to the stock cat back system right now and the volume is great. But, now I want more and will likely be ordering a Corsa cat-back soon...

Yeah I would say keep the stock catback and do headers that would give you the best bang for the buck if noise is the issue. I would of course do all the other things like GT350 intake manifold and throttle body with custom tune and I would think the car would be making good power 460 plus wheel hp... I think a good CAI will add power with the tune...

I have the same setup going on except for a Jlt intake. Your numbers seam pretty hideous 405rwhp with long tubes tune and intake? Am I missing something?

Depends on if you are talking real world numbers or inflated Dynojet numbers. Mods in my sig - im at 405/373. Dyno numbers mean nothing unless you are using it for a tuning tool as designed. Do a baseline, then go back to the same one hopefully in similar ambient conditions and see what gains/losses you have after mods.

I agree with that but it's weird that ur numbers are what a tune only car would get. Was this on a mustang dyno?

I don't think CAIs will give anymore power,

LTH - I agree it would be better BUT there aren't any headers for RHD cars

The GT350 IM + TB is a yes, but I'm waiting for the edelbrock IM which is coming out...?

It was on a Super Flow. Where do you see cars with tune only putting down 405+ not on a Dynojet?

Well, that number seems low because the headers were hitting the AC line bracket bolt under torque, and I would believe it was pulling timing. I have since pulled that bolt off and it does feel more responsive. I have not had it on a dyno since I took the bolt off, so it may be higher.

Currently considering waiting for my tax return to do a 350 IM and TB, as well as a dyno tune (instead of the Lund tune). Hopefully I can get some larger numbers.
