Our friends at Late Model Restoration have received an early look at the 2015-17 Mustang GT Power Pack 2, one of three emissions-legal performance calibrations recently announced by Ford Performance Parts.
At the time Ford reported that the Power Pack 2 calibration which includes the GT350’s 87mm throttle body and cold air intake would result in gains of 21 horsepower and 24 lbs-ft of torque over stock (40 lbs-ft gain at 1,500 RPM).
LMR already showed us their Power Pack 1 results and now they’re back at it and installed the Stage 2 pack on their 6-speed manual performance packaged 2015 Mustang GT with GT350 sport cat back exhaust.
After hitting the dyno the Power Pack 2 showed very solid gains with +26 peak horsepower and +29 peak torque gains and +47 HP/+50 lbs-ft torque increase at 5100 RPM.
