MT just released the Ignition video for the ZL1. They preferred it to the ZO6. They had it for a week or something, went through 6 sets of tires and it never overheated or had heatsoak. I think those 11 coolers are paying off lol.

We are. The Zo6 is faster than a ZL1 at everything. And with a little practice and drag radials. I didn't have any issue out sixty the Vette.

Now imagine how much faster you'd be with a ZL1 ;)

It's only 9 mph difference. A 5 mph wind or a slight slope in one direction vs. the other would do that.

What's the big deal with 11 coolers if it keeps the car from going into heatsoak or in the case of the gt350, limp mode. A cool engine, tranny, oil, diff, and brakes are a good thing.

Now the question remains..will they stay with that or will they proudly broadcast that, get all those ZL1 sales, and then unveil the newest, most capable Camaro ever..the Z/28...as ZL1 owners are still awaiting delivery of their cars?

GM knew the Gen 5 ZL1 was a superb Super GT car, but not really the best track capable car they could do..thus why they brought out the Z/28 in 2013. With GM openly stating that the ZL1 is the most capable and fastest Camaro ever..are they willing to show themselves to be liars by releasing a Z/28?

They said best Camaro they've ever built, not the best they ever will build.
