Why more GT500's for sale than 350’s or Mach 1’s?

There is TON's of data to support this. Why in the world would anyone buy a GT500 and put less than 2000 miles on it and then put it up for sale? Worst part is they are asking $90k+ for the stripped down no options $60k version. The ONLY reason is they thought is was a easy buck to be made. Just about every week there is another low millage GT500 Heritage Edition for sale on Bring-a-Trailer.

The motor and trans in the GT500 is worth $50k right off the bat. You have no clue what you're talking about.

You can't sell a GT350 when the engine done blowed up and a replacement is on never ending backorder, unless you wants to go full Flintstones with it.

As of last month, there were only 12 GT350 5.2L Voodoo engines in inventory. Just a side note, but most of them are great engines and people just don't know how to take care of them. I saw one for sale at an unbelievable price and once I got to the engine bay pics, wow, it was pretty darn crusty. I had an issue with my Gen2, but had a new one within a week.

That's an improvement over the beginning of March when there were 40 GT350 engines on backorder which was an improvement over a number near double that a short time prior.

No there’s not. It’s purely a haters mentality. You’re attempting to push an assertion simply because you don’t understand how some have the disposable income to do what they wish with a vehicle they purchased and the financial side is of little importance to them. The actual better path is instead of hating on someones decisions who’s financial situation is clearly better then your own is to maybe try and learn from what they do to have the ability to be able to make those types of financial decisions with little regard. Even just normal street driving, the DCT just feels worlds different. I wouldn’t want any other transmission in that car honestly. Ford/Ford Performance picked the right trans for the S550 GT500 without a doubt.

Yeah, no doubt there. Manual cars under 600HP are great, but after that point it starts to just become a handicap.

I am a bit off the original MSRP announced in 2019 was $70,300 for the Base model.

And when they arrived, the MSRP was on or about $80,000 without a single option.

If you purchased the GT500 and you put it up for sale with less than 2,000 miles on the clock you clearly should of just purchased a giant poster of the GT500 and put it on the wall of the garage. That would of been financially wise...or you are trying to flip it for profit. I see you have 2 Heritage Edition Shelby's. Do you actually drive them or are they matchbox cars sitting on a rack waiting for the day you can flip a profit on them?

There's always a hint of something when someone posts about the price of Shelbys, or ADMs...or what people do with their cars or the things they buy...it's always there just under the surface....oh right, it's jealousy.

$70,300 - here is one with a few options- if you removed the technology package and stripes- would be closer to 74K MSRP...

Just an FYI- this car is listed for 84.5K with 16K miles...so about 6K over sticker 4 years later with 16K miles- a touch high in my opinion - mileage definitely has a negative effect on values ....

I have almost as many miles on my R - but I would much rather drive it then stare at it and if I take a 20% or 25% hit in value when/ if I ever sell it ...so be it lol

As for your repeated profit nonsense. The R was on BAT and went to 154k, and after the auction was over, was 165k. It’s still in my shop where it’ll stay.
