This works well. Theres enough adjustability in there to tone down one exhaust mod. Either headers or an x/h pipe, or axlebacks. If you do more than one the valves will be basically closed all the time.Other option is to get the h pipe and then have the active exhaust tuned
Most people have used vibrant 12inch resonators on this type of mod
This might help :2.5 inch inlet/outlet or 2.75??
WDStandard GT resonator does a similar thing :
WD
- Standard pipe diameter = 2.5"
- Diameter at front manifold clamps = 2.25" (same for standard resonator and resonator deletes).
- Diameter at resonator outlet joint = 2.00" (removed with resonator delete).
YepSo I finally installed a Ford Performance x-pipe on my 2017 mustang GT. The only other exhaust mod that I have are Corsa Touring axle-backs. The car is LOUD, especially on cold starts!!! Holy shit. I park the car in the garage of my condo and when I fire her up, I'm literally embarrassed!!!
So, who else has gone back to a stock resonator.
