What kind of deal would get you to buy a '14 over a '15?

Nothing fun yet
$18k or less out the door would leave me with a decision to make.

In other words, the price of the '14GT would have to reflect the fact that the S197 is only half as good looking and only has half the interior quality of the S550.

If the gt350 isn't all that I want it to be, I might consider a 2013+ gt500...Horse Power is a highly addictive drug.

Value of a 0% deal is not very big.
Current rates in Credit Unions and Banks are around 1.5-2%.

I haven't bought a Mustang since the S197s came out. I have just never liked them. I thought about spending $25K on a low-mileage 11 or 12 GT, but I just can't bring myself to do it. I would sooner buy a S550 V6. Thankfully I have the budget to get what I really wanted, and I do mean thankfully.

Totally agree it is overrated with interest rates so ridiculous. Surprising that everyone is not doing it

And to the original question, 15 is just too compelling. Plus am getting a convertible and the old top is shockingly unrefined with a huge gap when closed, thought it was broken when I tried it last year, and the trunk is so much smaller than the 15s.

Why are S197 GT used ones so expensive.
I mean the S550 GT at invoice is 29K. Granted it is a base, but is has a lot more kit and has everything necessary.

I do not see a point in buying 2 year old used one for 25K when a new next gen model is 4K more.

Eh , the next best thing (arguably) is out. While I loved S197s, the S550 has blown them out of the water (for me!).

If I got one now I would just have instant buyers remorse...the S550 is just on a whole other level.

All of this , IMO ! No flame war needed lol

I wouldn't buy a 2014 for $15,000 brand new.

I have a 1989 25th Anniversary 5.0, and have been waiting a long time for this 50th Anniversary model.

Not my comment.

I wouldn't even pay $10,000 for a brand new 2014. I would rather pay $40,000 and have 5 years of car payments for the 2015.

Like I said... I've been waiting for a long time... (and I don't mean just since ordering).

Since I have a '13, that's been paid off for almost a year, it would actually be free to just keep it.
So I guess my answer is I wouldn't take one for free.. I'd rather pay $7k for a '15

I have two in the ten to 14 body style. I wish they would have left the 09 rear on it.
